Forget Jeb in 2012

Kiss Jeb Bush bye-bye for 2012 or beyond. Either he’s ignorant or gutless, either way he just dumbassed his way out of becoming our nominee for 2012 or beyond..

“(CNN) – Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told an interviewer that he could not say whether or not President Barack Obama is a socialist, and that the president would not have been elected if he had been honest with Americans about his agenda.

Bush would not answer the question of whether he agreed with the assessment of some congressional Republicans that the president is a socialist. “I don’t know. Define socialism for me,” he told Esquire magazine. “It’s a word… I believe he’s a collectivist. He believes that through collective action, through government, you can solve more problems.” He added that he believed the word “socialism” was a pejorative, and “didn’t help” the GOP make its case.”

Isn’t that sweet. Well Jeb if you’re that damn stupid that you can’t identify socialism when it’s out in plain sight then do us a favor. Stay home for 2012, we don’t need you.

Now I don’t for a minute think that you don’t know what socialism is, so that means you’re gutless to call Obama what he is.

So either way, forget about it Jeb. If you can’t speak the truth and stand for conservative principals, you’re out of the running before you start.

Silly Indignance Over “Puff the Magic Negro” Song

From the hippy who wrote the first song about a dope smoking dragon.

“The sending of a Christmas greeting by Chip Saltsman to the members of the Republican National Committee that includes a recording of the so-called parody, “Barack the Magic Negro” is not only offensive, it is shocking and saddening in the extreme. It flies in the face of America’s deeply held hope for a new era in which common ground and mutual respect characterize the exchanges between our national leaders.

I and my co-writer of “Puff,” Lenny Lipton, have been eagerly awaiting an end to the mean-spiritedness, outright disrespect and bigotry that was commonplace prior to this last presidential election. What might have been wearily accepted as “the way it was” in the campaign, is now unacceptable. Obama is not a candidate. He is the President-Elect, and this song insults the office of the Presidency, the people who voted for him, as well as those who did not — and taking a children’s song and twisting it in such vulgar, mean-spirited way, is a slur to our entire country and our common agreement to move beyond racism.”

Puleeese! Remember the song was a parody of lefty hypocrites who called Obama “The Magic Negro” and even wondered if he was “black enough”. But even more amazing is that NOW they want us to play “nice”, after all the vitriol they’ve thrown at Bush over the last eight years.

Michelle Malkin:

“All of sudden — after eight years of “F**k Bush” bumper stickers and “Kill Bush” assassination chic and Bush-or-Chimp parodies — the left is concerned about insulting the office of the Presidency?

Now, they are concerned with protecting the dignity of the office and with forging “common ground and mutual respect?”

Well of course Michelle, it’s “different” now.

The Dean of Housing Disaster (and Andrea Mitchell’s hubby) speaks

Talk about Chutzpah.

“In a withering critique of his fellow Republicans, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan says in his memoir that the party to which he has belonged all his life deserved to lose power last year for forsaking its small-government principles.

…”Mr. Greenspan, who calls himself a “lifelong libertarian Republican,” writes that he advised the White House to veto some bills to curb “out-of-control” spending while the Republicans controlled Congress. He says President Bush’s failure to do so “was a major mistake.” Republicans in Congress, he writes, “swapped principle for power. They ended up with neither. They deserved to lose.”

No doubt the Bush Administration threw away good general principles of conservative government in it’s sometimes out of control spending. But nothing is affecting our ecomony more at this time - and in a personal way - than Greenspan’s absolute recklessness in creating the present housing crisis.

“Many economists say the Fed, by cutting short-term interest rates to 1% in mid-2003 and keeping them there for a year, helped foster a housing bubble that is now bursting. In his book, which was largely written before much of the recent turmoil in credit markets, Mr. Greenspan defends the policy. “We wanted to shut down the possibility of corrosive deflation,” he writes. “We were willing to chance that by cutting rates we might foster a bubble, an inflationary boom of some sort, which we would subsequently have to address….It was a decision done right.”

Yeah Allen, tell that noise to the tens of thousands of Americans who are facing foreclosures because of YOUR decision “done right”.

They Fired IMUS for this - BET’s disgusting “Read a Book Video”

*****Warning Offensive Language******

BET is one of the greatest broadcasters of racism on TV today. They consistently show “Gangsta Rap” videos and scantly clad women who get referred to in said videos as, you’ve guessed it, “hos”. Since this abhorrent video aired on July 20th, BET execs have tried to back peddle and tell us it was “Satire”.

So where is Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. Apparently sitting in approval meaning that they’re words about “justice” and “right” are about as worthless as this video.

Edwards is just another example of the “Democrats for the Poor” myth

I guess it’s time for Elizabeth to go and defend her hubby again. This is huge:

“As a presidential candidate, Democrat John Edwards has regularly attacked subprime lenders, particularly those that have filed foreclosure suits against victims of Hurricane Katrina. But as an investor, Mr. Edwards has ties to lenders foreclosing on Katrina victims.

The Wall Street Journal has identified 34 New Orleans homes whose owners have faced foreclosure suits from subprime-lending units of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Edwards has about $16 million invested in Fortress funds, according to a campaign aide who confirmed a more general Federal Election Commission report. Mr. Edwards worked for Fortress, a publicly held private-equity fund, from late 2005 through 2006.

Asked about the matter, Mr. Edwards yesterday pledged that he would personally provide financial assistance to New Orleanians who are facing foreclosure by Fortress-affiliated businesses or have lost their homes already. “I intend to help these people,” the former North Carolina senator said.

He also promised to cleanse his portfolio of any investments that may be profiting from their losses. “I am going to divest” from any Fortress funds that have a stake in the subprime lenders that filed the foreclosures, he said in a telephone interview. “I will not have my family’s money invested in these firms.”

Mr. Edwards didn’t give details on how or when he was going to proceed, either to alter his holdings or to aid borrowers. He said he plans to begin making amends to New Orleans homeowners first by contacting them and “seeing where they are in the process.” He said his help may come from his own cash or in collaboration with a charity that specializes in repairing homes. The foreclosures, Mr. Edwards said, “run counter to what I’m about.”

What Edwards is about is “MONEY”. Always has been. Not that making money or having it is bad, I’m as capitalistic as the next convervative. But Edwards is just another example of the myth that “Democrats are champions of the Poor”.

No doubt the media will not follow up on Edwards to see him actually calling homeowners in New Orleans - personally - to help them out. Besides you just don’t “divest” 16 million dollars without serve consequences in the old portfolio.

But as I said, Edwards is just another example of the myth of Demcorats knowing how people “feel” in poverty. The fact is that most of the millionairs in politics are Democrats. Again, not a bad thing, but then if they really believed in what they say they could put their money where their pocketbook is.

If Edwards is really seriously sorry he could take that 16 million and spit it among the 34 homeowners he helped kick out into the street. Even at fuzzy math that’s $500,000 per household. That would more than pay for their homes, and perhaps then he could show us what he’s “all about”.
