Nancy Pelosi Lies again about the Tea Party Spitting on Congress members

It’s a lie, it didn’t happen.

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco on ABC’s “This Week,” essentially called Cantor a hypocrite for criticizing the Wall Street protesters while embracing the “tea party” movement.

“I didn’t hear him say anything when the tea party was out demonstrating, actually spitting on members of Congress right here in the Capitol, and he and his colleagues were putting signs in the windows encouraging them,’ Pelosi said.

Of course being the hack pro-palestinian she is Christiane Amanpour didn’t challenge the false assertion which has been thoroghtly debunked many times. Cantor didn’t speak up because the incident never happened. She’s referring to the lie that the left spread last year that Tea Party protestors shouted gay and racist statements and spit at at Barney Frank and John Lewis as they crossed the street into the capital during a Tea Party contest. It didn’t happen, videos proved it, but don’t let that stop Pelosi from doing what Democrats do best, spread false rumors.

Herman Cain Speaking Truth - Racism isn’t holding anyone back

Herman Cain is about to find out what Bill Cosby found out when he spoke the truth about how blacks in this country are not held down by racism but because they use that for an excuse for not succeeding.

“(CNN) - Presidential candidate Herman Cain said Sunday that he didn’t believe racism was a major factor holding minorities back in America, asserting instead that African Americans had a level playing field on which to advance economically.

“I don’t believe racism in this country today holds anybody back in a big way,” Cain said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “Are there some elements of racism? Yes. It gets back to if we don’t grow this economy, that is a ripple effect for every economic level, and because blacks are more disproportionately unemployed, they get hit the worst when economic policies don’t work. That’s where it starts.”

Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, said educational disparity and geographical separation were to blame for high unemployment rates among African Americans. Jobs numbers released Friday showed the unemployment rate among African Americans standing at 16.0%, while the total national unemployment rate remained at 9.1%.

“The gap is due to a number of factors,” Cain said. “One is a differential in education. Two is a concentration of a lot of blacks in certain areas like the city of Detroit, where the unemployment rate there is 14% versus the 9.1% we have nationally. So you have a city like Detroit where they lost 25% of their population, economically they’ve done nothing but go down, down, down.”

When asked by CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley if he thought African Americans had a level playing field, Cain said he thought most of them did, using his own experience in corporations as an example.

“Many of them do have a level playing field,” Cain said. “I absolutely believe that. Not only because of the businesses that I have run, which has had the combination of whites, blacks, Hispanics - you know, we had a total diversity. But also because of the corporations whose board I’ve served on for the last 20 years. I have seen blacks in middle management move up to top management in some of the biggest corporations in America.”

As for African Americans who remain economically disadvantaged, Cain said they often only had themselves to blame.

“They weren’t held back because of racism,” Cain said. “People sometimes hold themselves back because they want to use racism as an excuse for them not being able to achieve what they want to achieve.”

Of course the left will tee off on Cain for not being “black enough”, even though in the very best of leftwing definitions Cain is as black as they come. But let’s look at some numbers. The U.S. has 8.9 million households worth at least 1 million dollars. Of this approximately 4.2 million are black, according to Census Bureau statistics from 2007 through 2011.

Herman Cain and Bill Cosby are both in this group and both say emphatically that using racism as an excuse was never an option. I’ve long told the story of how I grew up in a predominately black neighborhood, attended predominately black schools, and without exception every one I know who is black and is successful did it because they worked hard, studied hard and applied themselves.

If you want to know point-blank, the leftwing ideology that has taught blacks that they cannot succeed unless someone helps them with money, or school or even by giving them the job over more qualified candidates. In fact if you want a definition of racism it’s exactly how liberals define it. In other words if you’re black you’re sub-human unless you are helped by them. You’re not smart enough, or have enough drive on your own to be a success on your own.

I don’t believe that and many black friends I have don’t believe it either. I believe that no matter what your color of skin, ethnicity, creed or religion, you have what it takes to succeed. The only thing you need is the desire to achieve. There are thousands of stories of this taking place in this country and around the world, because it’s the truth blacks need to hear.

Far from a Spontaneousness Movement - Who is Really behind Occupy Wall Street

The media is trying to compare the Occupy Wall Street crowd with the forming of the Tea Party as if it’s going to be new movement that will lead to real political change. They want you to believe that it’s spontaneous and a real move of the people.

But that’s a lie. It’s not. Who is really behind the Occupy Wall Street movement?

As you know I’m a member of MoveOn.org, and other leftwing operative groups. I figured the best way to know the opposition is to have an ear on the inside. So I Have been their mailing/email lists since I began blogging seven years ago. Several months ago Moveon.org began sending emails - action alerts - calling for members to get ready to “March on Wall Street”. Soon after this local Moveon.org groups in South Florida began openly talking about protesting in front of banks and other financial institutions around the country.

As an active member of the local MoveOn.org I was sent an email in the beginning of last month asking me to begin organizing protests in from of Bank of America locations throughout Broward and Dade county. Soon after this the union I belong to, the FPE (Federation of Public Employees) also began circulating emails attempting to recruit members to be apart of the movement they called, “March on Capitalism”.

Soon after the the Teachers Association, the local SEIU and other organizations too began to send emails and flyers the same question.

So what this means is that far from being a spontaneous group of people really outraged at evil banks and successful businesses, the Occupy Wall Street is a organized movement by unions and special interest groups afflicted with a radical leftwing agenda.

Just Announced: Sarah Palin will Not Run in 2012

I know, I know, I said she would. Just as a disclaimer, I’m one of many who are considered “inner circle” for Sarah, and early this evening the email us her decision. Am I disappointed? Sure. I believe she would make a hell of a president. For all those who say, “She has no experience”, as I said before she had tons more than Barack Obama he got elected so the “experience” canard is stupid.

“October 5, 2011
Wasilla, Alaska

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.

From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.

Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Thank you again for all your support. Let’s unite to restore this country!

God bless America.

– Sarah Palin”

Allah Pundit’s analysis is spot on for the most part - except for the aforemened experience. But on the whole his points are valid.

“She did the smart thing by staying out. Just yesterday, CBS found that three out of four Republicans didn’t want her to run compared to just 23 percent who did. Her favorable numbers have been underwater for ages and she would have been hammered on the inexperience charge for failing to finish her term as governor. I do think she could have emerged as the “Not Romney” in the race over Cain and a weakened Perry, but realistically there was no way to beat Mitt once it was a binary choice. His campaign pockets are too deep and undecided Republicans are too desperate to beat The One to roll the dice on a nominee who’s arguably unelectable. Once Christie decided not to get in and split the centrist vote with Romney, there was no obvious path for her (which may explain the timing of her announcement today). Worse, there was a chance that she wouldn’t even emerge as the “Not Romney”: If Perry or Cain ended up faring better than her in Iowa or South Carolina, it would have shattered her mystique as the ultimate champion of grassroots conservatives. By staying out, her supporters now get to say “she would have won if she ran” without ever having to test their theory and she gets to kinda sorta play kingmaker as people wait to see if she’ll endorse Perry, Cain, or (gasp) Romney. And who knows? Maybe she’ll focus now on challenging Begich for Senate in Alaska in 2014, which would be a huge first step back towards national viability down the road. She’s 47 years old, fully 25 years younger than McCain was when he was nominated three years ago. No rush.

I would add this. In over 40 years of watching politics I’ve never seen a political figure take the hits, slander, lies and venom-filled reporting that Sarah has and still be a force to reckon with. Any other political figure who had taken half the brunt she has taken would have been long dead in the water.

The media will no doubt think they were successful getting her off the trail, but in truth they had little to do with it. In spite of slanted polling I’ve never see Sarah go anywhere where she wasn’t greeted with love and affection - via sold out crowds I might add. A conservative operative friend of mine said that no of the current field of candidates excites a crowd more than Sarah.

Rather that being a victory for the media, it’s actually their worst nightmare, for now Palin can be - as she said - immensely more powerful in the party. While 2012 is off the schedule, 2016 is -in the political world - just around the corner. I believe by then she may be the only candidate for the job.

Breaking News: Apple Founder Steve Jobs Dead at 56

When Steve Jobs stepped down from the helm of Apple a few months ago I told you that that meant that the end was near. It wasn’t hyperbole. As one who is fighting cancer along with my wife and who has lost many members of his family to this scourge, and knowing that Mr. Jobs LIVED Apple. It was in every cell of his being. When he stepped down it was because he knew there was no way he could Today Steve Jobs went peacefully with his family at his side.

“Steven P. Jobs, the visionary co-founder of Apple who helped usher in the era of personal computers and then led a cultural transformation in the way music, movies and mobile communications were experienced in the digital age, died Wednesday. He was 56.

Mr. Jobs had waged a long and public struggle with cancer, remaining the face of the company even as he underwent treatment. He continued to introduce new products for a global market in his trademark blue jeans even as he grew gaunt and frail.

He underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer in 2004, received a liver transplant in 2009 and took three medical leaves of absence as Apple’s chief executive before stepping down in August and turning over the helm to Timothy D. Cook, the chief operating officer. When he left, he was still engaged in the company’s affairs, negotiating with another Silicon Valley executive only weeks earlier.

“I have always said that if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s C.E.O., I would be the first to let you know,” Mr. Jobs said in a letter released by the company. “Unfortunately, that day has come.”

There are no words to describe the loss of Steve Jobs. Job’s contribution to this world equals that of some of the great men of history. Although the man himself, whom I met on a few occasions, was known to be demanding, rude, sometimes cruel and even pathetic But most geniuses are.. He was also engaging, charming, and incredibly soft at times. He did get it, when he chewed you out he left your dignity in tact. But he was passionate about his product, but more he sincerely believed that his products would change people’s lives. There hasn’t been anyone in the technical world who has contributed more to the field save maybe Bill Gates, but Gates was and is a businessman while Steve was a visionary.

It’s a real shame that he and Bill couldn’t have joined forces early in the 80s, God knows what could have been accomplished.

But more than all of this, he was a husband, a father and a devoted family man who truly knew the meaning of family, and it’s with them that I leave all my greatest wishes and sympathies tonight.

Thanks Steve, showing all of us that it’s ok to dream and Think Different!
