“George Tiller, an abortion provider who became well-known for providing late-term abortions, was murdered Sunday while attending church services. What exactly did Tiller do that other abortion providers didn’t?

…..Early abortions, in which the fetus is removed through a narrow tube by suction, are so straightforward that 12 states do not even require the practitioner to be a licensed physician. Once the fetus outgrows the tube—usually at around 15 weeks—there are two higher-risk options: dilation and evacuation, and a labor-induction abortion. Tiller was renowned in both procedures.

In a D&E, the doctor medically opens the cervix and extracts the fetus using surgical instruments. The trick is to keep the fetal body as intact as possible, so bone shards don’t lacerate or perforate the cervix and other parts don’t linger and cause sepsis. (The head, which is rarely small enough to fit through the cervical opening, must be collapsed.) Because a fetus is soft and not fully formed, it takes considerable skill to remove it in one piece. Doctors around the country sent patients to Tiller’s clinic because of his mastery in performing the D&E procedure on larger fetuses.”

“Soft and not fully formed”?

I think not. Does this not look “fully formed”?

“Earlier today, George Tiller, a Kansas doctor who administered abortions, was murdered “as he stood in the foyer of his church.” Tiller, who frequently wore a bullet-proof vest for protection, was shot and killed by an assailant, purported to be a 51-year old man named Scott Roeder. The killing comes only two months after he was found not guilty of performing illegal late-term abortions. People For The American Way’s right-wing watch blog notes that “those who had long targeted and demonized Tiller were quick to issue statements,” including this one by Randall Terry which essentially blamed Tiller for his own murder:

George Tiller was a mass-murderer. We grieve for him that he did not have time to properly prepare his soul to face God. I am more concerned that the Obama Administration will use Tiller’s killing to intimidate pro-lifers into surrendering our most effective rhetoric and actions. Abortion is still murder. And we still must call abortion by its proper name; murder.

Those men and women who slaughter the unborn are murderers according to the Law of God. We must continue to expose them in our communities and peacefully protest them at their offices and homes, and yes, even their churches.”

Er, for the record Dr. Tiller wasn’t found “not guilty” of performing late term abortions, he in fact performed many hundreds of them. However, you have to ask the obvious question, “How is what Tiller did not a crime of hate”?

When you read of the atrocities of Tiller, documented and factual, you wonder why such a monster is so celebrated by the left? How much does one have to hate babies to pull them from a mother’s womb, fully developed, tearing their limbs asunder, and drilling holes in their head to insure death.

How is that not “hate”?

Of course it is, of the worst kind – and I’ll say it again – we cannot condone the wanton killing of Tiller, just as we should never condone the killing of the young. But while even some of our friends on the right struggle with the balance let us ask, just when is killing “justified”? If you ask the left they will no doubt provide many examples as they continually make excuses for the murderers in our midst such as William Tookie, Fidel Castro, Chairman Mao, and even – yeah – Hilter. When a thug like Tookie Williams literally blew away three innocent people, the left excused it by referring to a battered childhood.

Note that for them – indeed the culture of death – there is never morning for the victims, only the perp.

Remember how they celebrated the mocked assassination of President Bush? With pomp and ceremony. Had the victim been Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh they would have called the day a holiday and hoisted the assassin in honor.

What a strange and twisted sense of justice.

While I don’t condemn murder of any kind, we cannot deny the sense that God is right when he said, “As a man sows shall he reap”. Tiller reaped death and so received it, as violently and abruptly as he gave it out. Whether it had been at the hand of a crazed murderer – yes one act is as bad a the other – or by natural causes he will stand before God, and all the children whose lives he snuffed and give account.

I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes.

“WICHITA – A search is ongoing for the suspect in this morning’s fatal shooting of George Tiller, the Wichita doctor who became a national lightning rod in the debate over abortion.

Tiller, 67, was shot just after 10 a.m. in the lobby of Reformation Lutheran Church at 7601 E. 13th, where he was a member of the congregation. Witnesses, a city official and a police source confirmed Tiller was the victim.

Police said they are looking for white male who was driving a 1990s powder blue Ford Taurus with Kansas license plate 225 BAB. The vehicle is registered to an owner in Merriam, which is in the Kansas City area.

Wichita police Capt. Brent Allred said that several law enforcement agencies — including the FBI and the KBI — have been called in to help with the case.

“This is going to be a larger search than probably maybe just Wichita that we’re looking for this individual,” Allred said. “So we’ve got the resources coming in to help us with this investigation.”

Allred said that no one else was injured in the shooting. He would not say how many shots were fired. He said it’s unclear whether the shooter exchanged any words with the victim.”

This is NOT the way to fight abortion. Nevertheless, Dr. Tilman is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of innocents during his tenure. He prided himself on giving late term abortions (that’s the drill in the baby’s skull killing). This man was a monster. Here is a Bill O’Reilly interview of a 14 year old who had a late term abortion. In fact he has been under investigation for faking sonograms among other illegal actions, and was on trial for 19 misdemeanor charges but was found “not guilty” after manipulation by the Kansas legal system.

“Tiller made the case for infanticide by showing graphic photos of unborn babies with abnormalities. He admits on tape to having aborted babies a day before the mother’s due date. One murdered baby in Tiller’s photo collage was a child with three arms. I asked, “Why didn’t the mother carry the baby to term and consider corrective surgery after he was born? A baby with an extra arm isn’t worthy of life?”
