Well the numbers are coming in. Right now it looks like the GOP is going to sweep the House, say about 65 seats, and I’m predicting at least 9 seats in the Senate. Charlie Cook says that GOP has no chance, but I’m not buying that. This wave is of historic proportions, unlike anything we’ve seen. The reason I think the numbers are lowballed is precisely why most of the prognosticators, pundits and analysis to lose their minds over what is taking place.

You would think that they would have gotten a hint by the name, “Tea Party Movement”, but that seems to baffle them even more. What we have been seeing is an uprising, as I indeed predicted when Obama took office. That it wouldn’t be long before Americans woke up to see what they wrought by voting wrongly.

They have, and they’re about to set it right again.

Happy GOP Tuesday. To borrow from Rick Scott, “Let’s Get to Work”.

You’d have to be to say some crap like this:

“(CBS) A Democratic Congresswoman said today the potential victory of Alaska Senate candidate Joe Miller and others supported by Tea Party activists as nominees for the Republican Party will pose a difficulty for the GOP going into the November election.

Miller, who is in a tight contest with the incumbent Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski following Tuesday’s Republican primary, currently holds a narrow lead as absentee ballots are being counted.

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., described the GOP primaries, and yesterday’s rally in Washington led by conservative commentator Glenn Beck, as a sign that “There is a raging battle going on within the Republican Party for the heart and soul of the Republican Party.”

Girl is smoking something! Fact is that yesterday should have Dems pissing in their pants. More than 300,000 came yesterday at the call of a radio host because turning America back from socialism is that important. The Wasserman Schultz’s of the Democrat Party are in denial which is why they’re trying to re-define this huge movement we now see.

The numbers are all good for the GOP and all doom and gloom for Dems. Tinker Bell can preach her fairy tales about GOP disarray all she wants, the fact is that Dems about about to get shellacked at the polls.

Fact is that the Tea Party is only the tip of the iceberg of what will be a huge voter backlash come November. Democrats will be knocked out of power and most likely will remain that way for years to come. Americans have seen enough.

Following the results.

“Kendrick Meek has won the Florida Democratic primary election.

With 39 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Meek received 55 percent of the vote. His main opponent, Jeff Greene, received 33 percent.

As expected, Republican Marco Rubio won the Florida GOP primary. Mr. Rubio, with 39 percent reporting, held 85 percent of the vote.

In the race for governor, Democrat Alex Sink has won his party’s nomination. Mr. Sink received 78 percent of the vote with 37 percent reporting.

The GOP race for governor remains undecided. With 38 percent reporting Republican Rick Scott leads Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum 47 percent to 43.7 percent.”

The best news of the night, Kendrick Meeks will be the Democrat candidate. He’s completely beatable, especially by Rubio, much more than a Greene would have been. The results are more interesting in Scott vs. McCollum vs. Democrat Sink. Scott is the Tea Party candidate and it looks like he’s on a way to win but it’s too early. Let’s hope so. Scott beats Sink, where McCollum polls lower.

Follow results here.

UPDATE: The Obama Apologetic writes the media spin for tomorrow, “insurgents sag”. “Insurgents?”

UPDATE: Watching Marco Rubio on Hannity, Meeks will have his hands full. Simply put he can’t compete with him.

UPDATE: I’m going out on the limb. With panhandle results coming in it looks like Scott with about a 3 point lead, about 40,000 votes. I’m calling it for Scott.

UPDATE: Media is trying to spin that a Scott win is good for Sink. Show me the poll that says that? It’s not there.

UPDATE: AP calls it for Scott, MSNBC and others follow.

UPDATE: Proud of Allen West here. Clearly the best conservative candidate we have in Florida and in the Country. I interviewed him on the MacRanger Show back in 2008. Stellar man. He’ll face Ron Klein in November. Click on the Allen West link on the side to show your support.

Heh.

“CNN) – With the knowledge that Fox News’ parent company recently cut a $1 million check to the Republican Governors Association, the leader of the Democratic Governors Association is calling on the cable news network to run a “formal disclaimer” when it covers gubernatorial races.

“I request that you add a formal disclaimer to your news coverage any time any of your programs cover governors or gubernatorial races between now and Election Day,” DGA executive director Nathan Daschle wrote in the letter to Roger Ailes. “[…]If you do not add a disclaimer, I request that you and your staff members on the ‘fair and balanced’ side of the network demand that the contribution be returned.”

A CNN review of financial contributions made by media corporations showed that the parent companies of CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC have all made at least six-figure contributions to political parties and candidates. But none of them have given one organization so much money relative to its equivalent association on the other side of the aisle.”

Daschel’s a moron. But absent the ass-clown persona, the hypocrisy on this is amazing. Dems are hoping mad over Ailes money – which by the way – he gives about 50/50 to Democrats and Republicans. Hell he funded a Hillary fundraise in 2008.

Of course we can all remember when it was discovered that more than 235 journalists donating to Democrats in 2008 while only 20 gave to Republicans for a total of $225,563 vs $16,000 or so for the GOP.

Just about the entire MSNBC lineup gave to Barack Obama’s campaign, yet we saw no “disclaimer”.

Got to love Fox’s response to this idiot.

“”Nathan’s stunt has run its course,” Fox News spokesman Brian Lewis said in a statement to Washington Post media columnist and CNN contributor Howard Kurtz. “His 15 minutes are up. Time to leave the stage.”

No matter how the vote goes tomorrow it will spell the death of the Democratic Party in America. It is assured that after November they will not be in power, but that they will never return to power for a long time to come. This will be true no matter how the vote goes.

The American public have in the past made their displeasure known, but recent polls have shown that that a tsunami of displeasure will be unleashed on the Democratic Party in November. Before this debate we were looking at 35 to 40 seats in the house. It’s now over the threshold to take control. Sure it’s a long time before November, but we can see in those polls that America will hand conservatives a mandate, “Expel the Socialists”, and we’ll be ready to do just that.

Today Barack Obama on the Hill wasn’t cheering on the troops, he was imitating Jim Jones, convincing his followers to drink the Koolaid and politically die with him.

Let’s hope they drink deeply.

UPDATE: Moments ago Pat Caddell on Fox “Look, the people who are opposing this are holding tea parties. The Democrats are holding a Kool-Aid party. This is political Jonestown.”

Again, drink deeply, we’ll pick up the bodies in November.

Note the arrogance of Comrade Pelosi who along with other democrats have chucked the constitution, a grass roots effort began several months ago to use the recall power in some states to recall politicians who support shoving Obamacare down the throats of Americans.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged her colleagues to back a major overhaul of U.S. health care even if it threatens their political careers, a call to arms that underscores the issue’s massive role in this election year.

Lawmakers sometimes must enact policies that, even if unpopular at the moment, will help the public, Pelosi said in an interview being broadcast Sunday the ABC News program “This Week.”

“We’re not here just to self-perpetuate our service in Congress,” she said. “We’re here to do the job for the American people.”

It took courage for Congress to pass Social Security and Medicare, which eventually became highly popular, she said, “and many of the same forces that were at work decades ago are at work again against this bill.”

It’s unclear whether Pelosi’s remarks will embolden or chill dozens of moderate House Democrats who face withering criticisms of the health care proposal in visits with constituents and in national polls. Republican lawmaker unanimously oppose the health care proposals, and many GOP strategists believe voters will turn against Democrats in the November elections.”

That’s a sure bet at this point. Pelosi can’t even get her job correct. It’s not “do a job of FOR the American people”, it’s represent the will the of the people and the people don’t want Obamacare – period.

By the way at this point reconciliation is DOA. According to several sources it’s all smoke and mirrors. The reconciliation process is strictly for budgetary purposes, and Obamacare does not fit that design. Hot Air has more on that.

However, what you are seeing here is the implosion of the Democratic leadership. They know they’re done, defeated and come November out of power. Seeing that – like true fanatics – they redouble their efforts at futility.

44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.

Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.”

Being this is a CNN poll the results most likely be worse if the sample were more accurate to the American electorate. Nevertheless this is stunning, but not unexpected. The slide has been occurring in most polls, Rasmussen for instance, for months. In fact in Rasmussen’s daily tracking Obama hasn’t been out of negative numbers in nearly six months.

Michael Barone:

“My colleague Mark Tapscott cites an anonymous quote by a House Democratic leader from a Politico story on why the House Democratic leadership can’t muster the votes needed to pass the Senate health care bill. “‘You just need to twist enough arms to pass the Senate bill.’ You can twist arms if you’ve got a handful of them to twist. You can’t twist over 100 arms. There needs to be some reality check there.” Mark takes that as an indication that House Democrats are short 100 votes of passing the Senate bill.

Clever liberals in the blogosphere are still urging House Democrats to pass the Senate health care bill, with the Senate then making changes through the reconciliation process requiring only 51 votes and the Senate going along. Sounds like a clever idea. But as my Examiner colleague Mark Tapscott writes, an anonymous quote from a House Democratic leader suggests that they are 100 votes short of passing the Senate bill. I wouldn’t take that 100 votes as a precise number, but as an approximation.”

It’s about right. Barone hits on a point, that the number of democrats willing to stand for Obama’s agenda is dwindling, fast. Remember when Bush hit his lows in 2008 how Republicans began to distance themselves from him. Ah, that greatest of all characteristics of every politician, job security will prevail every time.

Whether or not Obama becomes a “centrist”, a move I remind you that no one will buy as genuine, the unmistakable fact is that democrats in congress will definitely move that way as they see it as the only way to keep their seats. In Washington it’s known that you have no real friends past your last vote and as we saw during the 2008 campaign it gets real crowded under the bus.

Obama is about to become the loneliest man in town.

Yet another poll, this time from ABC/WP, with a decidedly slanted democratic/african american demographic (thanks Frank), which purports to show that a majority of Americans don’t think that she’s qualified to be President. But isn’t that a silly question anyway? I believe so, partially because it’s a forgone conclusion at this point that neither was Barack Obama, and we’ve seen that demonstrably proved true.

It’s a long time until November 2012 and Palin hasn’t even thrown her hat in the ring. The fact that the MSM has run about a hundred polls asking this question in the last year shows that 1) They don’t believe the results, 2) They’re trying to create a picture of unelectability.

Both are wrong of course as the Sarah Palin book and media tours have shown. She pulls more figures per appearance than any other GOP candidate, and generates far more excitement.

But back to the question of qualifications. Again, the media played this game back in 2008 laughingly comparing Palin to Obama in the experience question and laughingly trying to tell America that Obama whipped her in that regard. This with a completely sparse Senate record and no experience in governing. There was never a question that at least in that regard Palin whipped Obama.

But for argument’s sake, let’s say that Obama had more experience. So what? Look at the wreck he’s made of the economy? How about the country in general. We haven’t been in this much disarray since, well, Carter. By the way let’s not forget those polls in regard to the “more qualified” Mr. Obama, where they hover in the mid 40s on his favorability, so much for being more experienced.

Interestingly enough back in January of 2008, long before Pain entered the political stage, Time Magazine wonder if experience really meant anything, noting that many of the country’s presidents had no really prior governing experience. For many, such as JFK and the Bay of Pigs fiasco it showed. For others such as Reagan they shined. But in most cases prior experience gave little to no indication of the job performance to come as President.

If the media were honest, and that’s a question in itself, it would admit that they continually ask the question not because it’s relevant – it’s not, but because it’s about Sarah Palin. That in itself is the larger question.
