Breaking from the Foley game:
Remember this?
Via email:
Hey Mac.
“At this point, this is good information that is something HUGH is cooking in the “bunker” in Alexandria, where a Federal Grand Jury has been conducting an investigation of possible violations of federal criminal laws involving unauthorized disclosure of classified information”. If you noticed there have been very few if any real leaks since August as no one – who isn’t already subject of the inquiry – wants to add their name to the list.
But trickles do come, even through the tight security, and it may be sooner than later that we think.
UPDATE: Some people have been asking about Russell Tice, that wild and crazy ex NSA staffer who had been summoned to appear before the GJ. As you know ole Russ made a fuss because they were going to ask him a few questions that he hadn’t “practiced” beforehand and asked for postponement through his lawyer of his appearance which he received.
It isn’t clear whether or not he has ever reappeared (unlikely) or it was determined that his testimony wasn’t necessary (more likely). Again, a Federal GJ doesn’t meet every day, and sometimes just once a week. It’s a painful process but the DOJ is being as agressive as possible to get to the bottom of the leaks.

2Mac, I’m certainly happy Foley is your rep…you’ve done an excellent job proving this set up of Foley.
BTW, I would be posting this below…I can’t open the comment section for some reason…
Looks like October will prove to be very interesting…
