Or so said an unnamed US official in the third page of this report in the New York Sun.
Another American official yesterday said that plans were underway to move rapidly to escalate economic pressure and other measures on the Iranians. “The Iranians are going to be shocked to find out how badly they have miscalculated,” this official said. “Remember, Jimmy Carter is not the president of the United States these days.”
At the moment of this writing, CNN is carrying on their front page an article with the following headline:
Britain sends note to Iran …
A shocking reaction indeed.

1I think that Britain are just biding their time, whatever happens the UK Government gets what it wants, strong public opinion for military action against Iran.
Most Briton’s were against any kind of attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities and didn’t see them as any kind of a real threat.
Iran has done everything it can to persuade the British public and the world they need to be dealt with and legitimised any future attack. The longer this goes on the more world opinion turns against Iran.
It may now be British planes taking out the Iranian reactor in air strikes.
