As you know, Al Sharpton, advocater of politcally correct speech has a radio program. However, as we know by way of recordings and records of words he has spoken he is also a bigoted racist.
Don Imus’s offensive statement was picked up by Media Matters (That George Soros Place), and then by the MSM.
Tit-for-Tat.
Sharpton’s radio show is presented by TalkNet, and underwritten by Syndication One. Syndication One’s big daddy warbucks is Radio One who touts it’s code of conduct as follows:
Code of Ethics
Purpose
The integrity of Radio One, Inc. (“Company”) is one of our most valuable assets and vital to the success of our Company. Each of our directors, executive officers and employees are personally responsible for conducting our business in a way that demonstrates a commitment to the highest standards of integrity. For this reason, our Board of Directors has adopted this Code of Ethics (“Code”) to:
• promote honest and ethical conduct;
• promote full, fair, accurate, timely and understandable disclosure;
• promote compliance with applicable laws and governmental rules and regulations; and
• deter wrongdoing.
Since Sharpton believes so strongly that “character makes the man”, and that his show uses the “public airwaves”, we as citizens and owners of the “public airwaves” want the bigoted and racist Al Sharpton off the air.
Radio One can be contacted here:
Radio One, Inc.
5900 Princess Garden Parkway
7th Floor
Lanham, MD 20706
301-306-1111
info@radio-one.com
It would appear that Radio One and it’s properties is violating it’s code of conduct by keeping Sharpton on the air. I would also suggest that since Sharpton believes so heavily in the power of the FCC in keeping the air “clean”, that they might also be interested in sound clips from his show wherein he has used remarks which are obscene, indecent and/or profane.
I’ve asked a few people to monitor his show here on 1080am WTPS in Miami and would invite others to turn-in where it appears in their local. List of stations is here. When you find an occurance file your complaint online here.
This isn’t about Imus, what he said was dead wrong and he paid for it. But again, tit-for-tat. If Imus is a racist then by proven documentation and history Sharpton is a mega racist and we don’t want any such person on public airwaves.
A press release on this will be forthcoming.

1Mac,
Did you catch the takedown of Sharpton on Chris Wallace’s show this morning? It pretty much covered Twana Brawley, the Jogger incident, his ongoing hate/hate relationship with the NYC Police Department, the Dems crackdown on Imus while at the same time kissing up to rap musicians whose lyrics are worse by anybody’s definition, Hillary’s acceptance of tons of money from one of the worst rap musicians in the business, her refusal to give it back or both of their lack of apologies for past conduct…etc. etc.
I mean to tell you it got plenty ugly, with Sharpton flustered at first and then trying to make it that they were only doing what George Bush did by inviting P Diddy to the White House!
You can’t make this stuff up! LOL! Chris Wallace did to Sharpton what he did to Clinton before him. These people will now be after Fox News BIG TIME! You can bet on that. I would check it out…it was a beauty to see. Should be on Fox News later this afternoon if you want to check it out.
Carl Levin and Lindsey Graham were on it too with the same old same old. Levin was like a broken record, referring tough questions from Wallace to the Iraq Survey Group as if they are the oracle of the Democratic Party (which they are I think). Sickening!

3I saw it this AM too. It was a sight to see. Chris was all over him. LOL
If Chris will keep it up…he’ll get back on my list of news programs to watch. With all his crapola lately his numbers have gone through the floor.
He did something similar to Chuckie last week. Chris ask him when was the senate goin’ to start doing something. Then Newt go on and said let ‘em keep it up the senate doing nothing…it’s better for the dims to do nothing in the senate than…he rattled off a number of crapola which was just way too funny…

4Yeah, Chris tried and tried and tried but Sharpton never answered the questions. Never nothing but a dodge.
Sharpton is better than Kerry. Chris needs to get better ammo and clips…they are slicker than Willie.
Hey Levin, I am one of your 10% that thinks Cheney has about 100% more credibility than you. After all…I watched someone nail you with the question before Iraq as to if the President or the UN should decide about Iraq. You answered the UN. You anti-American thug.

5Oh, and Graham was okay today but I am sick to death of our Republican Senators sitting like dead zombies while someone is insulting our President and his administration.
So I repeat until someone hears….since the Democrats run the MSM Army…..the only power on earth that can stop them is the Republican Congress. They refused when in power. They sat on their hands while Boxer insulted. They sat on their hands while their teammates run each administration official through the mud. Heck….they even threw mud themselves…you know….just to show how “fair” and balanced they are. Stupid.
Today…..Graham had another missed opportunity. You can NOT sit through someone calling your VP a liar while you are sitting there. What the heck is wrong with these people. When they do say something….it is so mild it is pathetic. Even Graham could not resist saying that Gonzales had to explain himself. Stupid.
