Sad to see Karl Rove leaving…but the rats are going nuts over it. They’re saying he’ll be much for dangerous for their party with him out of the WH. All I can do is laugh and shake my head…Rove is going home and relax for a while. It’s fun to watch the rats running around acting like what they are pathetic idiots…

Retire05 hints at an excellent point: now that Rove is gone, what will be the Left’s excuse for not being able to finish Bush off? (I guess in the Left’s mind Cheney will now become Bush’s brain… or his balls… or some area of Bush’s anatomy.)

When I was pounding the pavement and burning up the phone wires to get out the vote for President Bush in the last campaign, I never heard anyone say “but what about Karl Rove?” I am sure that the left would deny that, but those who were on the fence didn’t care if Rove was a staffer any more than they cared if Rummy was a staffer. They weren’t voting for Rove.
As to Novac, I just can’t read him anymore. He is p.o.ed because he has been booted to the side (which seems to happen to him on a regular basis no matter who occupies the Oval Office) and now he’s going to add to it to show that he still has a “Rather complex”, overstating his own importance.

Carl Rove is a good guy. He has a wonderful sense of humor (not something well known) and did his job well. I think he was smart enough to know that Bush was playing with fire on the No Illegal Left Behind bill but he obviously didn’t have the power over Bush’s brain that he was given credit for.

It must be wonderful to be a liberal journalist; you can call Rove “Bush’s Brain” when the President outsmarts the left and then, when the guy leaves, you can say what a dimwit Rove really was.
If I become a liberal, can I have it both ways?
