1There were many. Supposedly, Saddam owned interest (sometimes controlling interest) in numerous media (magazine/publication) around the world. He used his money, and people located at those various offices to help front and mobilize protests and media stories about human shields..etc…etc. during the runup to the war
That was what I recall at the time. It wasn’t a secret as I remember it.
