You could set your watch on their predictable responses. Most of the uber lefties are responding to this story insinuating that Israel somehow thought up an excuse to start a conflict. Troofers exist everywhere you know!
TPM:
“This war belongs to Bush, perhaps his Presidency’s last violent legacy.
Barack Obama starts fresh. He needs to make clear where he stands. Is American policy just going to be the same as under Bush, i.e whatever Israel does is fine. Or is he going to tell both sides what he expects them to do, starting with an end to violence, terror, and blockade. Enough is enough. It’s time for the honest broker to step in. That is Obama. His credibility is at stake, along with all those innocent kids under bombardment.”
Yeah, and I’ll bet they’ll snap to attention considering his staunch support of the enemies of Israel through the years.
After all he listened to Rev. Wright speak this for twenty years.
“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for almost 40 years now. It took a divestment campaign to wake the business community up concerning the South Africa issue. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community up and to wake Americans up concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.”
Considering they will have no real friend in Washington for the next four years I wouldn’t blame them if they went all out while they had the chance.

1Enough about ground forces bein sent in. I say to Obama, cut this free girt of billions with military equipment. I feel the Palestians, who have a common father of Abraham with Israelis, are being imprisioned by the latter. I guess now I’m becoming anti-semit for the first time.
