Crazy Kim threatens to do three more times what he f-ked up the first time.

” North Korea has informed China that it is prepared to conduct “as many as three additional tests” following the first nuclear experiment Oct. 9, CNN television reported Wednesday.

Quoting U.S. intelligence analysts and officials, CNN and Fox News said U.S. spy satellites have detected activities which could be preparations for nuclear explosion tests at three North Korean sites.

CNN also said that latest U.S. intelligence show that North Korea’s missile sites remain at a “very high state of readiness,” and Pyongyang could use them “in the next several days.”

On Tuesday, NBC News reported that the North Korean military has told China that it intends to conduct a “series of underground nuclear tests.”

According to ABC News, meanwhile, a North Korean diplomat said Wednesday it would be “natural” for North Korea to conduct a second nuclear test.

In an interview with the U.S. television, Ri Gun, director general of the North Korean Foreign Ministry’s American affairs bureau, said, “Even if there’s a nuclear test, that is natural.”

Ri did not reveal the timing or the scale of the prospective nuclear test.

Asked if the United States should not be surprised by the second test, Ri reportedly said that was the case.

Ri added that there are “many nuclear weapons” in South Korea and Japan and that they are conducting new military exercises, the report said.

Ri also said North Korea declared last year it has nuclear weapons, and said Pyongyang proved through its nuclear test that it possesses nuclear weapons peacefully, according to the report. “

Ok, the first “test” turned out to be a dud. Still while no doubt Bolton and the UN will draw up more resolutions the fact is that China will have step in if this nonsense is going to stop.

However, the fact is that China for all it’s stongly worded statements to North Korea is laughing it up at Jong il’s tirades. So long as we are watching North Korea, the less we have our eyes on them and their increased military buildup. The myopia on this from the IC is astounding.

As I’ve told you before I am well versed in this subject, serving two tours of the DMZ, and married to a Korean wife for the last 24 years, this is a subject near and dear to my heart. Especially since next month my love will be returning Korea for a visit. I’m not worried because contrary to false analysis South Korea is well positioned to repell the North.

North Korea has a vast array of weapondry, but much of it doesn’t work. I remember standing on the DMZ twenty years ago and watching out over vintage T-62 Russian tanks that didn’t move much. The fact is that we were told they couldn’t move because of the lack of preventative maintenance along with the lack of fuel and munitions.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m aware that NK got a lot of refitting during the 90s while Clinton chased interns around his desk, but even so remember his previous missile tests which were failures, and now the supposed underground test that fizzled, I honestly believe this guys bark is a hell of a lot worse than his bite.

Even so something has to be done, and it can’t be on paper. It needs to be a lot more.
