Let’s begin the tally!
“Among those who decided how they would vote in the past few days, Coakley has a slight edge, 47% to 41%.
Coakley also has a big advantage among those who made up their mind more than a month ago.Seventy-six percent (76%) of voters for Brown said they were voting for him rather than against Coakley.
Sixty-six percent (66%) of Coakley voters said they were voting for her rather than against Brown.
22% of Democrats voted for Brown. That is generally consistent with pre-election polling.”
Fox News Boston reporting, 55 percent for Brown, 48 percent for Coakley. Brown’s lead at about 5000 now.
Tip that networks could be calling this for Brown within the hour. Right now it’s a 17,000 vote lead.
UPDATE: It’s a 50,000 vote lead. Tip tells me that AP is about to call it for Brown, other Networks to follow.
UPDATE: Just about anyone who’s in the know has called this for Brown. With more than 50 percent of the vote in it’s Brown by 90,000 votes. The networks are pathetic. Had this been Coakley’s lead it would have been called already.
Via Twitter, looking for confirmation, Boston.com: “Coakley has conceded in a call to Scott Brown, according to a Brown aide.”
UPDATE: Fox News calls it for Brown.
UPDATE: CBS and MSNBC looking silly now. 90 percent of the vote in and they still won’t call it. Nevertheless it’s over. Obamacare is dead, so is the Obama agenda. Onward to November and a new GOP majority. Get used to it libs, we’re back!
