   Did you mean to say “resurgent GOP?” Perhaps you could provide us with some evidence we have all missed. Or, maybe you meant to say recumbent GOP? Recumbent seems to be a more characteristic descriptor of our leadership’s approach to challenges.

   This is what I’m praying we see a lot more of. Kudos to Sec. Chertoff. By the way, does no one remember that Brzinski was the foreign policy advisor during the Iranian Hostage Crisis, the first act in the war on terror? Oh yeah, he has a lot of credibility in suggesting we do less to combat terror. As Chertoff says, that’s a dangerous naivete.
