The poles showed CP would have beaten BC like a red headed step child. You might recall Screwy Louie Farakan organized his Million Man March during the trial. They drug the trial out to get a verdict as close to the MMM as possible, then the Clinton's had a call in campaign to talk radio and C-span after the verdict with the same talking point: "When blacks have to choose between doing what is right and what is black, they will always choose black." By the time OJ and Scott Peterson were out of the news the sell out to China was old news and nobody bothered to bring it up again. It will happen again.
