“Yesterday, eleven Republican Congressmen sent letters to Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean and Rahnm Emanuel, asking them to cooperate with the House Ethics Committee’s investigation by appearing before the Committee and giving testimony under oath. The letters say, in part:

We fully agree that anyone with knowledge of Foley’s activities, who then attempted to conceal such activities, should be held accountable. Today, the bipartisan Ethics Committee announced that they will be conducting a complete investigation of the facts surrounding the case.

We support this decision and also believe that the seriousness of this goes beyond partisan politics and hope that you will join us in demonstrating full cooperation from your Members and and political operatives as this investigation continues to unfold.

Just as it must be determined whether any Republican Members or political operatives were aware of and attempted to conceal Mr. Foley’s activities, it must also be determined whether any Democrat Members or political operatives were aware of, and attempted to conceal these same activities.

Therefore, we respectfully ask that you appear, under oath, before the House Ethics Committee.”

Of course Madam Pelosi dismissed that request, but she may not have a choice. These eleven republicans aren’t just asking out the blue, they have solid proof of tampering by Democratic operatives, some of which I’ve detailed previously.

As you noticed, the “Foley Story” began to fade from the MSM throughout Friday as blogs such as mine and others began to uncover what really went on behind the scenes leading up to the scandal. As to AJ Strata, he’s on the money about the emails, and that fact has not been unnoticed by the FBI according to sources. In fact, I’m told CREW may become more and more a fixture of the FBI investigation as the days and weeks unfold.

While there may an retreat from those involved, we are hear to tell them that we will continue digging. From the beginning this for me hasn’t be about “defending Foley” or even “protecting Bush”, but about what is truth and the truth a lie was perpetrated on the American people.

But these left wing front groups such as CREW and others, along with political operatives on the left, and even two, possibly three members of Congress had specific knowledge of what was going on. That should be coming out as soon as all the points can be verified.

UPDATE I: Folks, this is bigger than I thought. Posting will be sporatic as I and a few of my former compadres sift and dig through a mound of material. As this “plan” genesised over two years ago, it’s not something to unravel in five days. We hit the major points, and we know that for a fact 1) There are forged docs. 2) There was a conspired effort to get this story out last year, but the reigns were pulled in as to give it a “October Surprise”.

Now we are left with the “principals”, and that in itself is telling, as all of them have hired criminal attorneys to defend them. I will say it again, you don’t hire a criminal attorney unless you have been, or will be accused of a crime, or you have one hell of a guilty conscious.

Additionally, we need to remember that no matter what Foley’s activities needed to come to light, whether set up or not his activities cannot be condoned. But saying that I would remind people that outside of his attorney we don’t know at this point what he is guilty of. Point of fact just because ABC NEW and left wing seudo blogs are posting supposed IM messages doesn’t mean that Foley actually wrote them. We may very well find that Foley did not write some of the IMs, and given the suspciious nature of some of them as AJ Strata has aptly, and convincingly pointed out, that is entirely possible.

On that note a Fox News source points to the fact that Foley’s AIM account Maf54 has been online twice since he has been in rehab. That cannot be confirmed, but the source is solid and I believe him.

Eventually Foley will emerge from rehab and tell his side of the story. In the meantime we need to know the whole story. Especially if, as I believe, Democratic operatives and politicians used possible criminal activity for political advantage, specifically holding onto evidence (the amount of time is irrelevant), until the greatest “effect” could be obtained.

Currently, many of those who are looking into this story are looking beyond – way beyond – what is being printed in the news and discussed on TV. That is actually good investigative work – to look beyond the obvious, and behind the obvious there was a whole boat load of things going on.

I am also looking at possible – and quite obvious – ties involving Foley’s Democratic opponent in the 16th District, Tim Mahoney. Who you will remember was quick to have an “get to the bottom of this” press release mere minutes after the first inkings on the 28th of Sept emerged. As if the gun were cocked and loaded. In fact there are many connections – curious connections – in this story which could lead back to him specifically, or his campaign in general. Of course this wouldn’t be unusal would it in an election year? As I am local, I’m “close” to the area and know who to talk to and so will spend the day digging up what I can. So far, from what I’m seeing I’m “encouraged”.
