Doggett then thought he could get his butt kissed by going to tiny Bastrop, Texas the same afternoon to hold a "town hall" meeting that was not made public. The only people who were notified of his coming was the City Council (Democrats), Bastrop County Historical Society (Democrats) and the Bastrop County Democratic Party. But Bastrop residents did get wind of his appearance and showed up in droves to protest Doggett. How do I know all this? I WAS THERE. Doggett is lying about what happened last Saturday and the bill is going to come due in November, 2010.
