AJ Strata has a good take:

http://strata-sphere.com/blog/index.php/archives/4264

Anyone watching the debates this weekend had to be sorrowful at how low the Democratic Party has descended.

They truly were arguing to keep the US from defending against a terrorist attack. Imagine the spectacle. The DNI standing outside the Senate chamber to talk to any senator who needed convincing that something big is afoot. And inside the chamber, Democrats, all the usual suspects, and over in the House Chamber Saturday night, voting against protecting their country. Voting to protect the privacy of terrorists. A sad day. Thank heaven there are a few adult Democrats left.

Mac,

Have you seen this? Comments?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1877019/posts

Apparently they have had the NSA leaker under investigation for awhile now...at least one of them.

Interesting. Do we have another Robert Hanssen on our hands? This one is or was a DOJ official.

What is your take?

If you want to get a rise out of the journalist who write this trope drop em an email reminding them how bias they are and how only 13% of Americans think journalism is a respectable career.

They truly are the new snake oil salesman.

These bozos never intended to complete this very important piece of legislation before their little vacation. So President Bush used his authority and spanked 'em. Telling them you're staying in DC until this gets done. You will give me a bill I can sign. Way to go Mr. President!!!
