Mac I personally know one of the prosecutors, too. This is pure desperation by the former governor and political thuggery of which we have been warned by Michael Barone. So Skeptical, in regards to the truth, you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about what you speak, with a huge emphasis on the truth. Absolutely nothing.

Illegitimate victories. We know to which party those words apply and so do they. What a shallow, empty role they play in this world.

Doesn’t change the fact of the facts of the case contained in the indictment, and that a jury of his peers found him guilty of. That IS the the fundamental rule of law.

It’s funny how Democrats who get their hands caught in the cookie jar find a way to blame Republicans – such as William Jefferson.

Again, it will be reviewed, and upheld. Siegalman will be returned to jail.

Precisely why, with Siegalman out on bail, this case must be reviewed by the federal court.

I have great confidence that the criminals will be held accountable, and the corrupt should surely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law when they were acting illegally as agents of the American people.

I suspect, though, that when justice catches up with them, it’ll be Republican feds who abused their power under a lawless regime repudiated by the voters in the last two elections.

I’m glad you oppose the filth of corruption, Mac, even when it’s your good friends who will go down. The wheels of justice are turning, and the cancer on the body politic will be cut out. Wouldn’t it be nice if our Justice Department were clean, and it was just some sleazy Democrat politician who stank?

I remember when Republicans claimed to care about law and order. What a farce that was.
