He wasn't guilty of a vice charge, but was given the same advise by his counsel to plead out - a "no contest" plea just to get rid of the thing. As he related years later he regretted that decision. He said "People will beieve what they will believe, but I have to be true to myself". Everything about this case reaked from the get go. Circumstantial evidence that wouldn't hold in any court, and as I've said I ran these kind of stings and I was amazed at the way this officer conducted himself. Craig has an outstanding conservative record of otherwise honorable service. He deserves to clear his name and reputation if he can. ivehadit,

I think he was railroaded...and he needs to stick. Now if the people of Idaho thinks differently, they can vote him out. However, from everything I've read he's done a great job for them. Their exception with him has been his support of the immigration bill. Well, there's plenty of others that jumped on that bandwagon that could sink them too. GREAT NEWS.
