Another absurd Macsmind post. You don't have to stretch hard to say that the law is being broken here. In direct contravention of the law that required that records be maintained in the White house, they deliberately used outside email accounts, in some cases for 95% of their political business. Then, not surprisingly at all for this unbelievable band of prevaricators, up to five MILLION emails may have gone missing. FIVE MILLION. Seriously.

And you bring up CLINTON again? You have got to be kidding. Travelgate? That's the best you can do? You would have rightfully stroked if Clinton's White House ran some ridiculous percent of their emails externally, and then, umm, lost them. Just knock the pathetic charges of hyperventilated hypocrisy alone. That is the refuge of pathetic cowards. Face the simple facts here, and stop saying "The Democrats did something remotely similar to this once, and they're not being held accountable". Pathetic. There's a scandal a week coming out of this absolute band of criminals in the White House and you're pointing to Travelgate? You have got to be out of your collective minds. What does this White House have to do before you have a single bad word to say about them? What happened to your collective claims that Republicans will bring accountability back? What nonsense! They, and you, are the biggest bunch of whining, unaccountable, criminal babies on the planet. Take some responsibility for this Administration, or spend the next twenty years wandering the wilderness.

Aren't you even slightly embarassed by these shennigans?

"Where’s DA Law that was Broken?"

From the article above:

"Stanzel said some e-mails have been lost because the White House lacked clear policies on complying with Presidential Records Act requirements."

In other words, you're holding the presidency to lower standards than a stock broker:

- All emails must be preserved for up to seven years, and in an easily accessible place
for the first two years
- When emails are requested by the regulatory bodies, the stated retrieval time is
“immediate” (which in practice is typically 24 hours, say the experts)

I wouldn't worry about those e-mails, they're being kept with the Rose Law Firm billing records. Just send Hillary over to get them, she'll know where they are.

Come on Jay,

That is ridiculous to say that Mac will defend Bush no matter what! I mean he posted the White House response, Case closed. And didn't you read about that completely unrelated supposed scandel by Clinton? If that doesn't end this silliness, I don't know what will. Now just look the other way while the administration continues to break federal law, such as the Presidential Records Act

there you go again...
Stanzel said "...some e-mails have been lost because the White House lacked clear policies on complying with Presidential Records Act requirements."
but the handbook given to all staffers says "...federal law requires the preservation of electronic communications sent or received by White House staff..."
now that seems like a crystal f'ing clear policy...unless you are simply intent on defending this administration no matter what they do.

The FBI files Craig Livingston got were nothing more than a cover story, meaning if anyone asked about FBI files this is what would be responded to. There are different FBI files.

In 1991 after the R King beating Bush 41 ordered a review of all complaints filed against police with the FBI. After the 92 LA riots the FBI released a report claiming there was nothing in the files. In late May early June 92 Bush ordered all the US Attorneys to review the complaints.

As you might recall during the 92 election the Dems kept calling on Bush to release the contents of the files, and the dems made the claim that Bush wouldn't release the files because it would prove Rep. racism was the reason police were not being held accountable.

When Reno was nominated as AG she said the first thing she would do if she was confirmed as AG was to release the contents of the files. She never released the content of the files, she fired all the
US A's instead.

In early 98 G Stephanopolis(?)said on "This Week" that Hillary had a plan to release FBI files, everyone automatically assumed he was talking about the FBI files C Livingston got, he wasn't. He was talking about the FBI files Reno had fired the US A's to cover-up.
