Talk about campaigning during crisis. The Obama administration again uses tragedy to drum up cash.
“”Winter is coming…”
As the mortal remains of the four Americans murdered in Libya returned home, the official Obama/Biden twitter feed continued to sell Obama sweatshirts.
While the caskets were carried off the Air Force transport aircraft by a US Marine Corps Honor Guard, a military band played the hymn “Nearer My God to Thee” at the Andrews Air Force Base, Md, ceremony.
Simultaneously in cyber-space, the lead Obama/Biden Twitter posting at the exact moment the coffins were being escorted back onto the soil of their nation, was that “Obama Crew Sweatshirts” were on sale for $45 each.
Murdered were US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, foreign service information management officer Sean Smith, and diplomatic security officers and former US Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.”
That Can Be Taken Two Ways, You Know…
The main selling point on the Obama/Biden Twitter site was the ambiguous notification:
“Winter is coming, but these sweatshirts are perfect for fall”
Meanwhile, the Obama Twitter feed reassured on-line ObaShoppers that their apparel will keep them toasty warm:
“Whether you’re on your way to the tennis courts or to the local coffee shop, this tri-blend Obama crew neck sweatshirt will keep you warm no matter the distance.”
Las Vegas, Benghazi — No difference…”
