“President Obama’s summer woes have dragged his approval rating to an all-time low, sinking below 40% for the first time in Gallup’s daily tracking poll.

New data posted Sunday shows that 39% of Americans approve of Obama’s job performance, while 54% disapprove. Both are the worst numbers of his presidency.

Obama’s approval rating has hovered in the 40% range for much of 2011, peaking at 53% in the weeks following the death of Osama bin Laden.

But Americans’ view of his job performance continued to tick downward as the debt-ceiling debate heated up. By the time he signed legislation averting a federal default, he was mired in the low-40% range.”

The writing is on the wall for Obama, he’s a one termer. Back in 2008 I said on many occasions that it wouldn’t be long before the American public discovered just what a doof Obama is. Truth is that he’s had a greater disapproval than approval since mid 2009. Experience does matter and for the critics of Sarah Palin she had boatloads above Obama, yet they preferred to ignore his large lack of qualifications. Color me smug now that the rest of the country and even his most ardent supporters can’t with a straight face hide the fact that we have an incompetent at the wheel of the USA and worst yet we’re stuck with his ass for another 16 months.

Note to the GOP, you don’t need a superstar to beat this guy in 2012, any good qualified candidate will do. The bar is low.
