On Friday when the S&P downgraded America’s debt, President Barack Obama stood silent. Come to Saturday and his weekly address, not a word about the downgrade. It wasn’t until today that he finally found the words to calm the market and the nation and they did neither.
Instead he delusionally stated that the US was still AAA, that the S&P was wrong and during his speech the markets slipped over 100 points. His actions, and most often his lack of action have been the sole contributor to the nightmare America now finds itself. The question we have now is whether or not we can afford to keep Barack Obama as President and whether he should be removed from office and even more important how fast that should happen.
Our constitution provides only the remedy of election or impeachment. Other methods are unspeakable and regardless of how much he has damaged the nation I wouldn’t condone them for a second.
It appears very likely that Obama will be a one-term president. Run any statistic you like against history but there is no way he wins in 2012. But again, can we afford to keep him in office even another 16 months considering the magnitude of the damage he’s wrought to this point?
I submitt that we cannot. Barack Obama should be removed from office in the interest of our future.
