Updates coming. Apparently Osama Bin Laden is dead. Unknown whether killed or from natural causes, but updates when available.

***UPDATE: He was killed by a US airstrike last week and policed up by special forces. They were waiting DNA confirmation.

Here comes the glowing obiturary from ABC news.

“Osama bin Laden, hunted as the mastermind behind the worst-ever terrorist attack on U.S. soil, has been killed, sources told ABC News.

His death brings to an end a tumultuous life that saw bin Laden go from being the carefree son of a Saudi billionaire, to terrorist leader and the most wanted man in the world.

Bin Laden created and funded the al Qaeda terror network, which was responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. The Saudi exile had been a man on the run since the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan overthrew the ruling Taliban regime, which harbored bin Laden.”

Yeah, just a happy go lucky kid gone astray.

UPDATE: Bin Laden was killed by ground troops in a firefight, more to come. He was not killed by an airstrike.

UPDATE: Obama spoke about it. Said that the operation was months in the planning and took place today. Disgustingly enough he seemed to take credit for it as well. Nevertheless it’s a good day for American, we can all be grateful to our military for getting this done.
