Breaking. First woman to ever be placed on a VP ticket for President of the United States is dead at 75. She had battled a rare form of blood cancer, multiple myeloma, for over ten years. Politics aside and as one with cancer I applaud her fight, and morn at her passing. Please give to the American Cancer Society. You won’t believe how much hope research gives us all.

Interesting note. Though on two ends of the political spectrum Ferraro recieved much of the same treatment as has Sara Palin from the MSM and the Washington Elite. In fact it was the Ny Times that personally teed off on her during the 1984 campaign and even afterwards. It’s the same group that attacks any woman that dares to rise to the top in politics right or left.
