As expected today Apple released new Macbook pros in both the 13″ and 17″ flavors. The specs on the Macbooks are here. The big story is the introduction of Thunderbolt, the long awaited Intel high-speed peripheral interface. Formerly called “Light Peak”, Intel is saying that Apple will have exclusive rights to the technology through 2012.
