“TUCSON, Ariz. — In an unexpected twist to the Arizona shootings, a man wounded in the attack was arrested and taken for a psychiatric exam after an outburst at a town hall meeting, during which he took a picture of a tea party leader and yelled “you’re dead,” authorities say.

James Eric Fuller, 63, was detained on misdemeanor disorderly conduct and threat charges Saturday during the event taped for a special edition of ABC’s “This Week,” Pima County sheriff’s spokesman Jason Ogan said.

He apparently became upset when Trent Humphries suggested that conversations about gun control be delayed until all the dead were buried, KGUN-TV in Tucson reported.

Authorities said he took a picture of the leader and yelled “you’re dead.”

Note that all week the left-wing press has been harping over the Tucson shooting being “politically motivated”. Especially Frank Rich of the New York Times literally minutes after the shooting, blamed Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.

Of course we know now that Jared Loughner wasn’t motivated by anything except his own psychosis. Fuller is in fact a political operative known for his petition drives. I wonder if the FBI will in fact step in and take a closer look at Fuller
