As you know Microsoft rushed Mac Office out the door last week with a glaring omission. No sync ability for Outlook to iCal or iPhone. But according to Softpedia Microsoft will be releasing patches next week for Office products including Office 2011.
“Security bulletins will be offered for Office XP, Office 2003, Office 2007 and Office 2010. In addition, the software giant is gearing up to release the first patch for the recently released Office for Mac 2011.
Unlike Office for Mac 2011, its Windows equivalent Office 2010 survived a few months on the market without receiving a single security update.”
So will it be a security patch or will it be the awaited fix that actually let’s the majority of Mac users be able to use Outlook.
We’ll see.
