In getting the permit organizers stated they expected as much as 300,000.

UPDATE: The lefty media is playing the race card on this big time. That Glenn Beck would host a rally “here” where Dr. King had stood. How ignorant. Why not “here”? The Washington Monument belongs to all people of all colors, that was Dr. King’s dream and message. Lefties continually categorize race, make issue of it. Dr. King wanted a day when we would leave “race” behind and merge as a people.

The rally today, just as it was 48 years ago, about FREEDOM. That’s what is drawing the crowds. Through the Obama and his leftist agenda Americans are feeling that that their freedom is being threatened. That Americans tenants and principles are being removed for a socialist society under the disguise of “progressive change”. That’s being rejected today. Today is the beginning of the end of this country’s turn to the left. Today we return to the principles on which this nation was founded.
