Well in the 24 hours since Brietbart posted Shirley Sherrod’s racist video, she’s been canned by the USDA, after which she blamed Fox News and righties for simply revealing her true, er, colors. Watching the NAACP backpeddle is especially funny seeing how fast they jumped to condemn her. I learned a long time ago that guilty people jump to confessions.

However, let’s not forget that no matter what “context” Sherrod’s statements were taken, and yes I watched the entire video, her words were clearly racist in nature and showed a decidedly racist attitude towards whites – period. Sherrod’s not the first we’ve seen as the media delights in making heros out of some of the most racist of blacks, Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, so who could be surprised that they came so fast to her defense.

Back in 1985 Sherrod worked at the Federation of Southern Cooperatives which according to their site boasts that it assists “Black family farmers across the South with farm management, debt restructuring, alternative crop suggestions, marketing expertise and a whole range of services to ensure family farm survivability.” And which sued the USDA over discrimination and won millions. Which would prompt questions about her appointment in 2009 to the USDA post.

In Sherrod’s statement after the video she tried to weasel into making us believe that it’s all about being “poor”. Well yeah, as long as your black I guess you get some help. According to Shirley she only helped that white farmer “enough”, but only enough. According to liberals you can’t be poor if your white and Sherrod’s words and past actions and affiliations clearly show this attitude which is by the way prevalent in the NAACP.

The type of racism we see exhibited by Sherrod, the NAACP and other liberals is markedly cloaked in words and nuance, but reading between the lines you can see how fast they are to throw out the term at other groups if at best to deflect attention from their own attitudes and beliefs.
