Remember when just about everyone predicted that Barack Obama would sweep into a second term in 2012? Those people are far and few. As it stands now Barack Obama is a one-termer and if America had a recall law for Presidents he might not make it through this term.

Maureen Dowd – Queen of Political Slime – has lost her Obama bone.

“This president has made it clear that he’s not comfortable outside whatever domain he’s defined. But unless he wants his story to be marred by a pattern of passivity, detachment, acquiescence and compromise, he’d better seize control of the story line of his White House years. Woe-is-me is not an attractive narrative.”

But of course Barack Obama is very much a made up character. He was invented by the Maureen Dowds and the rest of the MSM, the sort of “Anti-Bush” – the Deliverer they had long prayed for.

To quote Alice Cooper, they wanted an Einstein and instead got a Frankenstein, a fabricated mess with no sibilance of core or direction outside of carefully scripted moments that have long since wowing the crowds.

With approval ratings in second-term levels and every day producing yet another questionable move of his administration, and even possible illegalities, you wonder when the rest of the media will begin to follow Dowd lead.
