It’s been a long hard road for the family of Capt. Speicher, but now they can have some closure as his remains have been found and identified.
We now know for sure that Capt Speicher died on impact after his FA-18 Hornet was shot down in the first hours of Gulf War I. Yet with no remains it remained unclear if indeed he survived the crash. After we went into Iraq in 2003 we were finally able to search for him and now know the facts and his family can finally lay him to rest.
God’s speed Capt. Speicher and thank you for your sacrifice, and to his family our prayers and thoughts are with you.
