Quite possibly, at least according to sources with LA PD. One of the key points is that his autopsy results have been “deferred” via the LA PD. WE know via ABC News, that the case was turned over to LA Robbery/Homicide.
From a law enforcement standpoint several things I find interesting.
1. The 911 caller – still unidentified from the Jackson residence – didn’t mention Jackson’s name, which while it might not have including a greater response, was nontheless curious. Didn’t he know where he was at. Most people would have blurted out, “It’s Michael Jackson!”
2. The attending doctor, Dr Conrad Robert Murray, who is believed to have giving him the fatal dose of Demerol, was – according to the 911 caller – performing CPR while Jackson laid on in bed. Having been a 9/11 EMT it’s 101 for anyone with basic knowledge of CPR to place the victim on solid surface such as the floor.
From what we know, Jackson was in better health than we thought, performing 3-hour workouts and practicing for his upcoming tour. While he was on several prescription drugs, and police believe he was “heavily addicted to OxyContin, that in itself would have caused him to suddenly “stop breathing”. However, if Jackson’s residual OxyContin levels were high, the introduction of high dosage of Demerol could be a factor according to a doctor I spoke of. The question then is why Dr. Murray, who had been his doctor for a long time wouldn’t know that fact.
Lot’s of questions indeed.
