It’s gaining ground, and not because Sarah Palin is “inciting it” as the media puts it, but because the comment was no less offensive than Don Iman’s “Nappy-Headed Hoes” which got him canned from MSNBC.
It’s about accountability, something the media will own up to when forced – as in the case of Dan Rather.
Through this the media once again has shown that it has no respect for the rights or dignity of women. This week we watched female anchor – liberal female anchors – at MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC and even Fox try to explain away Letterman’s sexist comments as if it were Palin’s fault that he’s a sexist old man.
Letterman’s a money maker for CBS, but so are supporters of the network. How much is it worth to CBS to keep Letterman and yet suffer the backlash of lost revenue from ads.
This will call for action by identifying and contacting advertisers and forcing them to take action. Hillbuzz has the list of advertisers and their contact info.

CBS Executives:
Nina Tassler = nina.tassler@cbs.com
Kelly Kahl = kelly.kahl@cbs.com
Kim Sartori = kim.sartori@cbs.com
Les Moonves = lmoonves@cbs.com
We will no longer tolerate such behavior from the media and their sexist treatment of Sarah Palin or any other woman. This isn’t about free speech, but about decency and what is right.
CBS will do the right thing, we are not going away.
