So saith Marc Ambinder.
“It’s true.
He motorcaded to a house in Maryland this evening, and if the press pool report is accurate, he is breaking bread with William Kristol and David Brooks. (If Brooks and Kristol seem to be unusually briefed about Obama’s thinking, you’ll know why.)
CBS News’s Dan Raviv tells the pool that the house, on Grafton Street in Chevy Chase, belongs to George Will. (Unless he’s moved.)
Tomorrow, I hear Obama has another private meeting with non-Republican opinion columnists.
Ellen Moran, the incoming White House communications director, set these meetings up.
Again — establishment opinion matters to the Obama communications team.”
Or controlling the opinion thereof. Remember Hilter wooed the media, and the media swooned for him, just before he shut it down.

1If Kriston appears to have a red Kool-aid ring around his mouth tomorrow, we will know what happened.
But then, it would not be the first time Kristol, and his buddy, Fred Barnes, threw conservatives to the wolves.

3Since when did conservative opinion leaders write for the New York Times? When the one travels to Palm Beach, let me know.

4Yesterday, El Rushbo was called away to a super-secret meeting in Washington D.C. Fill in host Jason Lewis speculated as to what Rush was doing in D.C. Was he at that meeting At Will’s home? Did he speak with Obama? What did he tell the President Elect?
