Pam Geller has the scoop. Being a Fort Lauderdale native I saw this on the local news last night and fumed, and quite frankly was a bit surprised. Specifically with the large Jewish population in South Florida I haven’t heard – as of yet – any outrage.
Nevertheless the local media – as does the national media – eats up the antisemitism with fork and spoon.
I was glad to see my friend Joyce Kaufman and Alan West show their support for Israel.
Here is a video of the protest.

1Just disgusting that such humans if we can call this group such to be so ignorant and narrowminded and just wouldn’t even bother them to kill others and not respect others beliefs. Like you said it is FT Lauderdale. Such hatred and violence is quite scary. This hatred is bred from infancy and I don’t think you can wash this out of the majority of this group. Thank you for the sharing of the video.

2I have no words to describe the dismay, shock and fear that this video brings to me. In this day and age, and in this country, that this kind of hate should still be so rampant is truly horrendous. I am frightened for us al if this kind of behavior is allowed to flourish in this country.

3We all need to remember that it was muslims who attacked the World Trade Center in the 1990′s and then again in 2001. It was muslims who attacked the USS Cole, muslims who attacked our Marines in Lebanon, muslims who killed a filmmaker in the Netherlands for a film they took offense to, muslims who rioted over a cartoon, muslims who kill eachother every day because some are Shia and some Sunni. If they can’t get along with one another, how can we expect them to get along with other religions or backgrounds? STAND UP AS AMERICANS and PROTEST RIGHT BACK. DON’T ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO SPREAD THEIR HATRED IN AMERICA.

4Tom Trento is melodramatic in the intro, by design I suppose. I watched the first half and saw one angry woman hurl some inexcusable insults while surrounded by dozens of peaceful protesters who weren’t misbehaving. In several cases they seem to reply to pro-Israeli protesters across the street, but we cannot hear what it was the other rally was saying.
The Ft Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel did not see fit to cover either side of the rally. Perhaps they were distracted or just a bad newspaper. But I tend to think it wasn’t much news. Especially since Trento spent 4-5 hours capturing it. He must have alot of free time. Of course, a video with such a slant is important enough to merit coverage on Fox News. But then, typecasting groups of people is something to which Fox management readily relates.
