The gay assault on the Church continues. Gay blogger Aravosis writes:
“Rick Warren explicity bans “unrepentant” gays from membership in his church.”
“We get lectures about civility and the need to welcome everyone, even those we disagree with, and Rick Warren won’t even welcome us in his church. This is from the Saddleback Church’s own Web site. You know things are bad when the church goes out of its way to explicitly say that you’re not welcome as a member in their Web site FAQ. But we’re supposed to welcome him to our inauguration.”
Which shows how ignorant Aravosis is of the Scriptures and what is the Church, and it’s not surprising. What do you expect the dead to do but stink? Again, the “Church” is the body of Jesus Christ, not a building that believers occupy. Secondly the “ban” isn’t Warren’s, it’s God’s.
While the call to recieive forgiveness via Christ’s sacrifice for sins, it is never without repentance from the sins of one’s life. This is true whether of homosexuality, or of greed, lying, gluttony, or whatever else is forbidden. This isn’t exclusionary, but clearly outlined in Scripture. Christian’s are commanded to not even have a hint of such sin in their midst.
“But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people (Ephesians 5:3).”
Again, homosexuals can argue this all they want but the fact is that the Bible is very clear about the sin of homosexuality and it’s that sin – not the people practicing it – which God hates and excludes.

1It is amazing how the liberals, especially those lobbying for homosexual causes, want to force others to believe their way of thinking, even going so far as to deny others their guaranteed 1st Amendment rights of free religious expression. I keep wondering why those like Aravosis don’t just form their own “church” and write their own “bible” to keep from being upset all the time.
