It would appear that because Charles Johnson has such animosity against those who disagree, he has delinked this site because of my call to pressure the Cincinatti Zoo to reverse it’s decision to cancel the day of discovery.

By the way, the Zoo may be announcing a rescedule in the coming days because as I’ve said, they really have no choice being a tax-payer facility. We’ll see. Nevertheless it matters little to me what Charles thinks or delinks. It would seem that he has much more deep seated issues about God, but that’s for God to determine. As I said in my post I sat on a board of professionals throughout the 90s that civilly debated macro-evolution vs. Creation. I’m am still friends with many of those I debated with. Great minds can disagree.

For those who are familiar with the debate, the argument is never simply evolution vs. creationism, but creationism vs. a Macro Evolution. There are two types, Macro and Micro evolution. Micro-evolution is a fact that is plainly observable throughout nature. Macro-evolution is a theory that has never been observed in science. . Micro-evolution is the adaptations and changes within a species while macro-evolution is the addition of new traits or a transition to a new species. Macro-evolution speaks of one species “evolving” or changing over time into another species via the changing of specific DNA. Nothing in science has ever come up with one example of this taking place, nor being observed.

Yet the purpose of the post wasn’t to refute this with Charles – although I attempted a discussion – but to bring to the attention of readers an injustice of discrimination against a group simply because a handful of scientist who complained to the Zoo.

But it would seem too that this is not an isolated incident as Jihad Watch can attest to, as well as other blogs whose only “sin” was to disagree.

I began blogging before Lgf, and I will continue long afterwards. Over the last six years I have never “delinked” anyone for simply disagreeing with me. Outside of the Bush national guard memos and exposing some bogus photos, one would have to wonder just what the contribution of his blog is, or even if others have noticed the decline. For myself I served my country and took a bullet so that free speech and debate may reign. It’s those who gave the most who treasure it the best.

Evidently, they have.
