During his press conference yesterday THE ONE had this to say about his own bi-racial-ness:
“On the other hand, our preference would be to get a shelter dog. But obviously, a lot of shelter dogs are mutts, like me. So the — so, whether we’re going to be able to balance those two things, I think, is a pressing issue on the Obama household.”
As I watched with with a bi-racial friend of mine, who’s from black and white parents, he frowned and asked, “What the hell did he mean by that?”
I replied, it’s simple, just another example of how Obama really views people – like objects, just as he views himself, an object, a cardboard cutout of a fictional character. It’s the reason he took the cheap shot at Nancy Reagan, the gun toting, Bible hugging people of Pennsylvania, and others.
This guy has a real complex about himself, a megalomania that especially manifests when he speaks of others.
I would imagine that many persons of similar genealogy would have similar feelings of outrage.

2Yeah, he “took a shot at bi-racial blacks.” You moron. He is one. It’s called self-deprecating humor, ever heard of it? Grow a funny bone.

3Let me sum up and ratify the two comments above: you are an insane moron. Also, your biracial friend is way too touchy. Finally, I like the way you spin out your pseudo-insight into Obama’s character. You manage to overthink without thinking.

4Come on MacRanger, you should know better than to even THINK about criticizing the Messiah. The ObamaBots are looking for anything that does not show love and adoration of the Messiah.

5A man who spent years seaching for his racial identity, who then decided that he was only black (Oh, and did I say he’s black) and who played that to the hilt when it was policitally expedient, is now a “mutt”?
Excuse me, but you don’t insult others using what the dimwits call “self deprecating” humor.

8And what does that make his children? And what does that say about his white mother and black father? When they made a child, it was a mutt? I can’t get in his head, but that comment struck me that he is a man still searching for an identity. Or he found it as a sub-something.

9If this is the best Obama’s critics can do, I think he’s probably A-OK. Attention Obamaphobes! Half the reason he won was because America was tired of this overblown hysterical faux outrage from the Limbaugh/Hannity set. It blows my mind that the same party who has the alleged toughness of character to send soldiers into war and defend our nation from terrorist attacks is simultaneously so prone to having their delicate feelings trampled upon.
Look- our country needs a healthy right wing too, but this kind of crap doesn’t sound healthy at all. If you really want to be responsible dissenters, try waiting for him to actually make a policy decision (that’s not for a few months, now, so you may have to find something else to be furious about between now and then) and then give a principled reason for why it was a bad idea. Then see how it went, readjust based on the data, and continue. Anything short of that is something akin to pro wrestling, and it will guarantee a long Democratic dynasty for as long as they are smart enough to sit quietly by and watch the Republicans shoot themselves in the foot.

10Yes! Finally, political correctness I can support because it would be correcting a Liberal. Thanks Mac for pointing out the foolishness of a man of mixed racial heritage (like most every American, btw) making a light joke at his own expense. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the last 8 years it’s that any self-awareness on the part of the administration is definitely bad.
Keep up the tough analysis.

11I was walking through my living room when I heard him make this comment and I cracked up laughing. What a way to lighten the mood and then kept me that way for the rest of the day………..Just think if that feeling of happness was catching!
