And the truth hurts.

“A roomful of academics erupted in angry boos Tuesday morning after political analyst Michael Barone said journalists trashed Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republicans’ vice presidential nominee, because “she did not abort her Down syndrome baby.”

Barone said in an e-mail that he “was attempting to be humorous and … went over the line.”

Barone was speaking at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, to the 121st annual meeting of the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, which calls itself the nation’s oldest higher-education association.

“The liberal media attacked Sarah Palin because she did not abort her Down syndrome baby,” Barone said, according to accounts by attendees. “They wanted her to kill that child. … I’m talking about my media colleagues with whom I’ve worked for 35 years.”

Barone, a popular speaker on the paid lecture circuit, is a senior writer for U.S. News & World Report and principal coauthor of “The Almanac of American Politics.”

About 500 people were in the room, and some walked out.”

Too fooking bad. It’s the truth. It’s exactly what we heard from Kevin Burke in article “The Palin Trig-ger“, where it looked at the hostility – particulary of liberal woman – against Sarah Palin.

“Every year in the United States, approximately 133,000 pregnant mothers will undergo routine pre-natal tests and receive what is called “poor pre-natal diagnosis,” or PPD. This means that their infant is afflicted with a chromosomal abnormality or a serious defect in a vital organ.

With the increase in genetic testing and fertility treatments there are growing numbers of couples facing these difficult situations. More than 90 percent of these pregnancies end in abortion. Studies indicate that more than 80 percent of prenatal Down Syndrome diagnoses end in abortion. Parents are often influenced by doctors, therapists, friends and family to see these children not as a gift, but rather a burden to be feared and eliminated. After abortion, the fallout from this loss places a tremendous strain on a couple as they struggle to come to terms with the shock and pain of their experience. If the couple has experienced an previous abortion prior to the PPD pregnancy, the mother or father can see their experience as a type of punishment from God for the first abortion and struggle with additional powerful feelings of anger and guilt.”

Translation, she pissed them off because she refused to do what so many – 90 percent of them – would have done.

Abortion is the liberal altar of being for the left. I heard this many times coming from such women, “Why didn’t she get an abortion?”, “How could she possibly thought he could have a normal life?” Like it or nor liberals it’s YOUR culture and belief system.

It appears that most of these pinheads were far left than were not by their viewing habits.

“At the start of his talk, Barone also did an informal, show-of-hands poll about cable news preferences. Attendees said the results were roughly MSNBC, 35 percent; CNN, 55 percent; and Fox News, 10 percent.”
