National Holiday for Obama?

This is what happens when the moonbats reign.
“Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.
“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.”
As it’s unlikely Bush would sign such a proclamation, it would have to be Obama himself signing the proclamation. Which given how much he worships and adores himself would be most fitting.
He has only won this election. He isn’t even the president elect yet. The Electoral College has to certify this election and on December 1st, 2008 all requirements like his birth certificate must be presented; if not he’ll be disqualified.
Wonder what the actual name on his birth certificate is?
Obama listed on his bar application, no prior aliases. That means, there is no legal paper trail of a name change.
If his name is anything other than Barack Obama; and he listed a non legalized name on the ballot, then his election is nullified. The rules for this are at every state ELEC office. All the states have PDF downloads on how to get a candidate on the ballot.
This should be interesting.

I’d bet he would have no problem whatever in signing such a bill, nor any comprehension of WHY he should have a problem with it.
We already have a holiday to honor him – It is called Presidents Day.
