Odds are that Mr. Hairplugs – who didn’t know that FDR was NOT president in 1929 wouldn’t know. Yet the MSM continues it’s gang rape of Sarah Palin by going after her answer to perky Katiie about the Supreme Court case Marbury vs. Madison.
“Tonight’s installment of Katie Couric playing Roger Mudd to Sarah Palin’s Ted Kennedy features the much-anticipated Supreme Court non-answer.
The bad news for McCain: This offers yet more evidence that Palin has thought little about many policy issues facing the country and world.
The good news for McCain: This is the last footage Couric has. We think.”
Again, not a surprising take on from the Obama Apologetic – aka The Politico (Official News Magazine of the Obama Campaign). But the fact is that when Biden was asked about specific Supreme Court decisions he couldn’t cite either, but then he’s not a feisty hocky mom that makes Jonathan Martin so angry he could just spit.
UPDATE: Nice try lefties, but the fact is that Biden could NOT cite a Supreme Court case by name either, but let’s not let that subtract us from the fun eh?

1It would be useful to have a link or citation to Biden’s inability to name specific cases. Can you or someone give that?

3Rudy, Rudy, you poor benighted sap. Of course there’s no link to such. It’s a LIE. Biden expounded at length regarding the SCOTUS’s 2000 decision revoking parts of the Violence Against Women Act when asked this question.
But then again, he’s not a feisty hocky mom. No, he’s fairly smart and has a grasp of national-level politics.

4That’s funny, I remember seeing Biden talking about U.S. v. Morrison.

5I also found it hypocritical of the lefties to pick on Palin for that when Joe Biden also failed to name a Supreme Court case he disagreed with. OK, in fairness to them, he did speak at length about United States v. Morrison, but he failed to mention it by name.

6MSM “gang rape”? Seriously, calm down. She just got asked a couple of questions.
Really?

7Gang raped? Really? Is that what is happening? I’ve never seen a gang rape before, so I’m glad you tipped me off on what to look for.
Rather than try to turn the focus on Mr. Hairplugs why don’t you tell us your favorite part of her answer to that uncomplicated question? I couldn’t make heads or tails of her answer, obviously you could.

8Please explain to me how tough questioning is analogous to a mass act of felonious sexual violence. Would this make Katie Couric a gang rapist, too?
As for Biden, FDR did once appear on television briefly though most of his broadcast appearances were his Fireside Chat radio broadcasts. Biden got the wrong medium, mostly. Roosevelt DID lead the country through the catastrophic aftermath of the stock market crash; he was elected after Hoover failed to provide such leadership.
The aftermath of the crash continued arguably even after the end of the Second World War but definitely continued through the beginning of the U.S. participation in that war. Reasonable people may debate the effectiveness of his leadership, but the fact of that leadership is just that: a fact. The point is that Roosevelt led; the public understood what he wanted and what was going to happen. Compare to Bush’s almost lip-synced televised address (that should have been on radio instead.)

9Biden did give an answer but he cited the supreme court over ruling a law he personally worked on.
The thing to keep in mind here is that this is CLEARLY NOT a witch hunt against Palin. The questions she got asked were also asked of Biden. He gave an intelligent response even if he didn’t name a well known case.
The specific thing Biden said was obviously wrong. But the larger point was still correct. FDR did instill confidence in the people, he just did it with the radio and not the TV and he did it 3 years after the republicans ruined everything. The point was that leaders instill confidence, they don’t wet the bed and that point is valid.
So you have to decide if Biden’s brain fart matches the stream of consciousness absurdities that flow out of Palin’s mouth are equally revealing about the candidate. Palin has yet to answer any question about any national issue intelligently. Biden got his timeline messed up about an issue.
No reasonable, educated, intelligent person who cares about his country could possibly want Palin in office based on her performances in these very standard interviews. If you think they’re “gang rapes” then you have serious problems.

10My first post got deleted, probably because I crushed Clarice so lets try again.
Here is Palin and Biden being asked the question
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfE4a93-Cww
Clarice is wrong to say Biden couldn’t cite a case. He cited the Violence Against Women Act, a law he drafted.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violence_Against_Women_Act
So there’s that. This isn’t a witch hunt, Palin’s just a horrid candidate for public office.

Sounds typically circular lefty logical to me……
Not.
