PERCEPTION IS NOT NECESSARILY REALITY ... DON'T BELIEVE THE POLLS ...
Obama supporters act as if the polls are a true reflection of what's going to happen on November 4th. Obama has consistently tried to win each of his elections prior to a single vote being cast, by eliminating his opponenets on technicalities, or having the DNC dump Hillary, or by giving the false impression that he already won, before the election has even taken place. When you don't have an actual record to run on ... and all you can do is point out problems, and blame others, as Obama has, you have to rely on gimmicks that have nothing to do with your actual ability to lead ... like accusations of racism ad nauseam ... like early voting ...busing and indoctrinating homeless people on the way to the polls ... photo ops with big crowds ... spending 4 to 1 on advertising ... having the media in the tank ... having Hollywood in the tank, having Acorn in the tank ... and, having 98% of all black voters in the tank. But, all of these things are nothing more than a fabricated perception. They have nothing to do with a person's experience, or ability to lead. They just reveal a candidate who will say, or do anything to get elected. That's why the Obamabots are so worried. That's why Obama is telling his disciples not to get over confident. That's why the Obama campaign tries real hard to make it look like Obama has already won ... just like they did in the run against Hillary in the primaries. I happen to believe there are legions of people who are going to vote for McCain on November 4th ... unlike the 'in your face' Obama supporters, November 4th is when the McCain supporters will express themselves. A vote for Obama is a vote for voter fraud, corrupt media, and a road to socialism. Keep America safe and strong, elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.

Another reason not to believe the polls:

Bush approval rating UP 2% AFTER the Wall Street debacle,
when it is said most believe Bush and Republicans were the
problem.

The media and the Obama Democrats are scared, because
12% of Dems jumped the fence after the DNC dissed Hillary.

The straw polls are interesting, though. Six of nine polls have
McCain ahead, by over 20%, two of the nine have Obama ahead
by 10 to 15%, and one (which is really funny) has Ron Paul at
90%, and the two major parties sharing 10%.

Yep... mainstream media still has their liberal spin on everything.

For the truth on the polls, go here:

P.S. I totally believe what I said about the "Silent Majority".

I also suspect that the Bradley Effect will be in play here, because many people may have serious doubts about this guy's totally non-existent resume but choose to tell pollsters what they want to hear rather than argue about whether they are racist or not.

This could apply to exit polls as well, resulting in discouraging news when they are reported, followed by WTF? when the actual numbers come.

At least, that's my hope, and I don't think it an unreasonable one.

Don't lose heart. That's precisely what they want us to do; be so worn out and sick with despair, that we don't even go and vote election day.

I'm tempted to accommodate them this far; skip election day by early voting for McCain/Palin if I get the chance.

Think THAT will make 'em happy?:-)

Nah... Not even remotely possible. Ever notice how many of his supporters go around looking as if they just swallowed something particularly nasty?

If it wasn't for who they are, I'd probably feel sorry for them; it must really suck to BE them sometimes.

My greatest hope remains with the “Silent Majority”.

It is very real, comprised of folks who abhor confrontation and arguing with loons, and are apt to respond to the left’s “get into their faces” tactic by going into the voting booth with “Vengeance is mine!” in their thoughts.

They probably don't get polled all that much as they are busy with working and LIFE (and possibly skipped for fear they might give the wrong answers).

They aren’t big on demonstrations or political stickers (I suspect the likelihood of people actually going to the polls and voting is inversely proportional to the number of stickers on their cars), but they DO go out and vote.

Obamaphiles: note how many cars are free of political stickers; and be afraid, be very afraid :-)
