There’s something being overlooked about the democrats argument that republicans have controlled congress over the last 8 years and as a result it’s their fault that we are in the economic crisis we are in.
Aside from that not being true, might I remind you and your readers that democrats did control the senate starting back in 2001.
This from CNN: “Sen. James Jeffords of Vermont left the Republican Party as expected Thursday, becoming an independent and throwing control of the Senate to the Democratic Party for the first time since 1994.”–May 2001
So the argument isn’t just weak, it’s wrong.
