15I saw this commercial run one day on TV. It is real. He is, in my mind, an unqualified, unpatriotic, low down snake in the grass. We NEVER saw the color of the skin, and at our 40th high school reunion we still had the strong love and comradery that we had back in the day!
It literally angers me that these people who seem to deem telling lies to make us angry at one another because of the colors of our skin, have a lack of confidence in themselves! They are constantly pointing fingers at others, and blaming someone else for their problems~! It angers me that someone I don’t even know is trying to bring pain, hatred, and lie after lie into our homes via the airwaves trying to make us hate one another!
Well, my momma didn’t make me a sissy!!! And THEY are NOT going to make me hate my brothers and sisters who are another color than I!!! If I saw a person … no matter what ethnicity they were, and someone was trying to hurt them, you can bet this white momma would be there trying to help!!! 44We Americans have been spoiled. I’m nearly 50 years old and I remember at least 25 of those years passing with the majority not even caring enough to go vote! So many Americans just” let things happen” in Washington DC, let decisions be made……then they’d sit back and gripe!! Those are probably the same people now who are so willing to listen to Obama and believe his rhetoric…..and they are so wrong!
Well, the times have changed and now it seems everyone is interested… thanks to 9/11, in particular. The problem remains though that so many people are not going to use any kind of research or intelligence BEFORE deciding for whom they will vote! They will rely on either having a “D” or a “R” associated with the candidate (takes all the pressure off and they don’t even have to think!) or they will choose because of something like “I like the way he talks” or some other nonsense.
So, my fear is that all these non-thinking, easily fooled people will be swayed by Obama. Like previously mentioned, he says what people want to hear and he has charisma. He talks and talks about “Time for Change” yet he DOES NOT EVERY SAY ANYTHING! When have any of you actually heard him answer a question in a straight forward manner? And on the extremely few occasions when he has actually answered a question at all, guess what…he answered the same question previously with a different answer!
I don’t know if McCain is the best man for the job and like everyone else, I don’t know what the future holds, but I will choose a US hero who has years of experience and who actually answers questions….and has real plans…..over a man who in reality says nothing!
For all of you who mentioned the need to pray, just let me say I AM PRAYING TOO…..WITHOUT CEASING!!

45Most of what I have read, watched I knew already. People are infatuated. A lot of vote fraud. No matter how you look at it, if this man loses the blacks are going to revolt. If he wins, he will destroy America. I have watched the video about disarming America, a better video than the one above. I think that his intentions are to give the keys of America to the terrorists. We better prepare ourselves to spill a lot more blood if he is elected. Terrorists will take over. We will be sitting pigeons for everyone. We need to be strong militarily. If they do not respect us, let them fear us. Diplomacy does not work all of the time. Once socialists take over they never let go. Look at Cuba. It was a beautiful country. It had everything. Forty nine years after Castro it looks like Iran 1000 years ago. The buildings are dilapidated, the hospitals are horrible, there is no food or clothes. But, the tourists have a really nice section and never get to see the other side of Cuba, I know, I was born there and thank this country for everything I allowing my family to emigrate here. We came as legal residents and became citizens five years later and never looked back. At that time you had to wait five years. This is the greatest country in the world. I am very scared about this man. Everyone thought that Castro was the answer to their prayers, after all he was a really good orator, he was handsome and boy could he speak, hours and hours speaking. What did he accomplish. All of Cuba’s accomplishments ended with him. People have no incentive to do better as they cannot even shop in the stores reserved for tourists or Cubans who go there to visit their relatives. Look at how the Middle East lives, they are still living in the 10th Century, not this is not a typo, they live in the 10th Century. There are no freedoms. Even if you are a Muslim you must belong to the same tribe or you do not belong. Chistians are slaughtered. Where is their tolerance for others. Obama has no tolerance for whites. He is using them to achieve his goal. God Help America. I am a professional and have never even collected unemployment, than God, but perhaps, I should retire. What he is thinking of doing to America is not pretty.

As a retired law enforcement officer, I can assure you that I had been in MANY life threatening situations, ALL with convicted felons. And unfortunately, I have had to kill them to survive. Felons who are here ILLEGALLY to begin with, who obtain guns, not by buying them, but by stealing them or even MAKING them.
It’s America, knucklehead, so if you don’t like or want guns, then don’t own one. That’s your choice, not ours. A proven fact is that Germany banned firearms in the 1930′s, so did Russia, Cuba, China, North Korea. Ever read or care to remember history? Recall what took place in those countries? I didn’t think so.
I have NEVER been assaulted or threatened by a gun owning average citizen..never. I spent my life protecting those who could not protect themselves, even people like you, from those who cause harm and misery. The laws I mentioned previously, IF ENFORCED as written, THAT would reduce crime and keep the felons where they belong…in prison. Regarding the video, it looks real to me. But many of you make it sound like he’s going to dismantle the US Military. A) there’s no way that would ever happen, and if he believes it he’s wrong. B) He didn’t say that. What he said was that he wants to dismantle our nuclear weapons system and cut unnecessary weapons spending. Wants and will do are two different things.
Finally: he’s not muslim, he’s not from “the east,” he’s not a terrorist, and every one of the people who posted on this blog are the very people he wants to help. He is the only person who is and was running for President that can change the way the world sees this country. Electing a close-minded, previously-well-intentioned Bush supporter is not the way.

I have read the book and studied it a great deal and nowhere do I find specific identities like that-so what version are you reading? Also, in the origional 1610 version of the KJ Bible the 50 or so translaters stated that they did the best they could and knew that in the future better manuscripts and the identity of the Isralies would come to frutition and some of the translations nd concepts would need to be changed to become more accurate. Along with that when the Ameican Bible Society in England brought the KJ Bible to America-they took that page out and the Apocrapha also FOR THE ORIGIONAL HAD THE APOCRAPHA IN IT AS INSPIRED SCRIPTURE-looks like purposeful tinkering with to me! Oh by the way-before the KJ came to America there was the Geneva Bible which King James did not like so he had HIS version translated and printed-how bout that? The Pilgrims, who wrote our Magna Carta, used the Geneva Bible and not the KJ so the Geneva Bible was the first Bible in America and was not messed with like the KJ was. Not all of it - just the wasteful spending and the projects that Bush and Chaney’s friends are profitting from.
This money needs to be spent in America, on and for Americans. We need to take care of the military men and women who have been hurt by the Iraq war and whose benefits have been reduced or have expired. We need to spend money on re-building our roads, highways, bridges, etc. — they are crumbling and in need of repair. We need to focus on energy conservation and other forms of producing energy before we run out of oil and are totally dependent on Bush and Chaney’s oil-producing friends in the middle east. We need to bring manufacturing and other jobs back to the United States from China, Thailand, India, etc., or create new ones. We need to build up the great American middle class. America cannot be a successful democracy without a thriving and educated middle class.

Let me preface my comment by saying as a Black conservative, I will vote for McCain. It won’t be because of his platform, because no one particular candidate will be in total agreement with his or her base. But the bigger picture in this race is the sole survival of this country. To begin with; Being black and a conservative is a social “Death Sentence”. If you don’t believe me ask the black conservative who addressed McCain “Begging him to take it to Obama. He not only received nasty emails, but death threats as well. Now tell me that the black population is being represented by a person who seeks to reach both sides. HE (Obama that is) Never addressed this issue. I don’t recall Dr. ML King saying that in his dream that blacks must vote democrat. How can someone work at a job for so long and have so little to show for it?
He keeps talking about how he’s not “Miss Congeniality,” and hasn’t gotten along with his party… so why should we, as Republicans, vote for him? Can he work with Republicans, and not just his Democratic (and communist) friends if elected?
I never get serious answers to these questions. His supporters just say he’s THE ONE. Or they define him as not being the other guy. (Duh.)

89It’s hard to imagine how fearful so many of you posters are. What are you really afraid of? Terrorists? Economic depression? Even the most radically liberal politicians in the US like Denis Kucinich or Bernie Sanders are also concerned about those threats, and their policy plans might actually benefit working folks more than the plans of Bush, McCain and other big business pals, which most members of Congress have become. The fact is, Barack Obama is far from radical in his liberal politics and in some cases, not liberal at all. Wasn’t it McCain who said in the past two debates that he wants to cut the size of the military? If we’re just going after terrorists, we don’t need massive multiple armies invading entire states and certainly not expensive and dangerous nukes. All of those expenditures are bleeding this country dry. In any case, the authenticity of this video has yet to be verified.

Let’s take a quick break from party affiliation, race, and name calling. In this brief break just think to yourself what you would like America to be in 10 years (once the new President has affected our Government).
1. If you want a free ride (which sound good) then jump on the OBAMA wagon and see how far it goes (socialized health care, socialized taxes, socialized military etc) A little reseach will show clearly how these ideas have worked in other countries.
2. If you think hard work is a better plan the go with McCain and see what that does for the country. The hardest working people in the world come to America to see their dreams realized. The most successful people in the world live in America or immigrate here. Guess why.
It always boils down to the question of who gets what.
If we are in this fight to save America, then everyone needs to pitch in and do their part. You know, get and education, do a hard days work, pay your taxes, pick up a rifle and fight when wars threaten our way of life.
But if we are just out to see what we can get for free, then don’t be surprised when the handouts run short and you are left standing there with time wasted and empty hands. The freebies always cost more in the long run and mean less than goals you set and achieve with ingenuity, creativity, and hardwork (The American Dream).
It is up to you to decide what kind of America you want. Every vote counts and we will all have to live with the decisions we make as a country.
PS- I come from a single parent income (dead broke) childhood. I have an education, a job, a family, a plan for retirement, and God in my life. I am no different than you or anyone else in America who is willing to work for the good things in life. I will vote for John McCain/Sarah Palin.

I would like to see this aired too and I’m a Barack Obama supporter, the only thing this does for me is reaffirm who I should be voting for this election. It’s important that our country and every other country relies more heavily on diplomacy than on weapons, war and bullying tactics. We have been trying to use force to create peace since the beginning of time and it HAS NOT WORKED!!!! Everyone needs to wake up and realize WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!!!! He is opposed to nuclear proliferation, though I see that there are plenty of murderous war-mongerers who are all for nuclear proliferation (even if it means Iran getting their hands on weapons) and an endless war in Iraq.
Obama’s talking about cutting unnecessary spending on weapons. Meanwhile, all I can get from this commentary is that Republicans want to spend all their money on needless weapons (we’re easily the most militarily powerful country in the world and I don’t see this changing soon under a Democratic or Republican regime), but don’t mind if our infrastructure collapses, if we don’t develop local green energy sources, and if our public schools remain the unfunded mess that they are.

He has a pattern that can NOT be denied by himself or anyone else. Put emotion aside for a few minutes, look at the FACTS the patterns of his life, his career and his associates. What he is saying on the campaign trail does NOT match his past actions. He is a great speaker, but if he is not speaking the truth does the it matter that he is a good speaker.
