Don't sell Fred short. I attended several local functions held for Fred when he was running for Senate. Fred is awsome. He is big enough to command attention, yet he is low key and soft spoken. He eminates a feeling that he is everyone's personal friend, is honorable and reliable, and can be counted on doing what is right, not what is expedient. Never would any of us who support him believe he is capable of selling us out for his own personal benefit. You don't find many politicians who come across as being a down home, true blue honest American who understands our problems and can be trusted to do his best to solve them. This is the quality that reminds us of Ronald Reagan and although we all know he is not Reagan, we believe he is cut from the same mold. He may not win all our battles, but we believe we can trust him to do his best. That's more than we get from most politicians.
