Not so “Innocent” Lane Hudson
You’ll remember the “innocent” Lane Hudson, who “stumbled” into the political landscape – rather conveniently before the 2006 midterms, exposing the wretched Mark Foley? After all he was the the anonymous proprietor of “Stop Sexual Predators” Blogspot, who kept himself anonymous because he was so embarrassed by the attention.
Of course we know now that he’s anything but an amature in the political landscape, and once again we see him doing what he does best – whoring for the DNC, as today he glowingly filed an FEC complaint against Fred Thompson for “testing the waters”.
“Progressive blogger Lane Hudson filed a complaint against former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) on Monday, accusing the likely presidential candidate of breaking the law by violating the Federal Election Commission‚Äôs (FEC) ‚Äútesting the waters‚Äù clause.
Hudson, known for posting e-mails from former Rep. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) in last year’s page scandal, said Thompson “has been presenting himself as a candidate, he has been raising large sums of money beyond what would be required to explore a possible candidacy and he has signed a long term lease on a headquarters for his campaign.
In his complaint, Hudson lays out a number of examples ranging from Thompson’s extensive fundraising to quotes from the senator and his advisers.
“Fred Thompson is breaking the law and it’s time somebody did something about it,” Hudson said in a statement. “So, this morning, I filed an FEC Complaint against him. For far too long, he has been ignoring the letter and spirit of Federal Election Law for his own political benefit. It reeks of the same disregard for the law that we have seen from the Bush Administration, Bob Ney, Duke Cunningham, Tom Delay [sic], and Mark Foley.”
In an e-mail, Thompson spokesman Jim Mills said only, “We’re following the law.”
The FEC Monday afternoon could only confirm that it has received the complaint. The complaint will be treated as a “matter under review.”
Within five days of receiving the complaint, the FEC must notify the Thompson exploratory committee and provide it with a copy of the complaint. The committee then has 15 days to respond to the FEC and say in writing “why no action should be taken.”
It won't take that long. This complaint is baseless and only shows the ignorance of Lane and exposes him for the political whore he is.
Strong language I know, but let's be clear, he's no amateur to the progressive political hit arena and in fact we know he conspired with several members of the DNC to expose the Foley scandal just prior to the 2006 election. He was subsequently fired from Human Rights Campaign, a gay rights group, for whom he hosted political rallies under gay rights.
Perhaps it's time for us to take Lane completely out of the closet and see who's really buttering his bread.
UPDATE:  Working together the threads that tie Lane Hudson into the DNC, when completed I will be filing an FEC complaint against Mr. Hudson and for failing to register as a campaign entity.   Additionally I am looking into filing FOIA requests to the DNC for any and all specific correspondence they have had with Lane Hudson since 2004 when he in fact worked for the Kerry campaign.  Specifically we will revisit the evidence that he conspired with DNC officials to without the news about Mark Foley for months in advance of the story breaking in October 2006.  This would make him complicit in the witholding the knowledge of a possible crime.

Lane is a John Edwards suck em up and I really don’t want to know in how many ways.
This twerp has been having his hand out to the liberal blogsphere to fund his lifestyle after his Foley takedown and now he wants the be a somehow new hero of the left.
He was crying liberal crocodile tears of how he couldn’t make ends meet and nows he is playing pit bull again.
Back in the Foley days, I worked research on this zit and GTL had his number and did the deed.
If he is upfront look for CREW to come out next with a big piece of news, they walk hand in hand.
He also has ties to Rahm Emmanuael and guess what they are mostly social.
I do hope the “Honorable” Mr. Emmanuel might be implicated in this for his part in holding the Foley story for political gain as well.
