“Fireworks broke out at a Friday morning session of the second day of the YearlyKos Convention titled ‚ÄúThe Military and Progressives: Are They Really That Different?‚Äù. An as yet unidentified uniformed soldier attempted to address the panel on the subject of the ‚ÄúSurge‚Äù. He was unceremoniously escorted out by panelist Jon Soltz.
The soldier‚Äôs words were either suppressed or inaudible on the convention‚Äôs own video. They can be heard here on this exclusive PJM Video by Andrew Marcus, who also interviews the soldier and tries to interview Soltz.”
First, who is this “Jon Soltz”? Nothing more than an anti-american turncoat, who is the leader of nutbag anti-military site, “VoteVets.org”, where they describe themselves thusly:
“VoteVets.org Action Fund is a pro-military organization founded by Veterans of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to be the voice of the 21st century patriot. Our mission is to ensure that today‚Äôs soldiers have the necessary resources to successfully complete their missions abroad and the support they deserve when they come home.We are committed to winning the war on terror and preserving the strength of our military”
Pro-military my ass. Stolz is nothing more than an modern day John Kerry, a leftist hack, who actually refers to Nancy Pelosi as “real leader”. Fact is that Vote Vets is a front group for Moveon.org and get’s most of it’s funding from - you guessed it - the George Soros funded Center for American Progress.
The next time this ass-clown lays his hands on a real soldier he’d better hope I’m not standing there.
Nuff said.
UPDATE: Hot Air with a video interview with the soldier in question. Additonally just to clarify, the soldier didn’t break regulations simply by being in uniform and asking questions or even making a statement at a political event. I ran this through the local JAG and they concurred. The intent of the “no uniform at political events” reg is strictly when used to endorse a poltical party or event. The soldier was simply telling those at the panel that the surge is working. He was telling the truth and there is no regulation against that. He wasn’t participating in the event nor endorsing the left wing, the candidates or any other faction of the event.

1My only question is how in the heck did someone in uniform get in the front door at the Kos Convention?

2I remember when Wesley Clark (there must be something in the name because I equate him with Ramsey Clark) was on the Factor. O’Reilly asked him point blank if VoteVets.org was funded by George Soros. Clark tried to dodge the question but O’Reilly would not let him and finally O’Reilly asked him “isn’t it true that Soros donated $25,000 to VoteVets”? Clark looked like someone had just slapped him across the face. He still tried to dodge by finally admitted that “yes, Soros had donated to VoteVets and that Soros was a “great” American who wanted the best for our nation.
I thought O’Reilly was going to lose it right there as O’Reilly has a hatred for George Soros (and rightfully so). The interview ended within a minute and Clark looked relieved that it was over.
Whenever you see a group labeled “progressive” just equate that with socialist because that is the new moniker they have taken on. Of course, no American would back a group if it was called socialist so the now have that catchy little phrase “progressive”.
There is a great book out called “The Politics of Peace” and it is a must read for anyone who wants to understand what these “peace” groups are all about. And it damn sure ain’t about preserving democracy in America, it is all about instilling the tenents of Gramsci and Marx.
Like John Kerry’s Vietnam Veterans Against the War was funded by the American Communist Party, so to are these groups funded by a self proclaimed socialist, George Soros.
There was a recent article in the Canada Free Press entitled “Revved up Global Warming, collaspe of auto industry equal ‘The Hijackinf of America’ by Judi McLeod dated 16 Feb 07.
It talks about the partnership of Al Gore, George Soros and another behind-the-scenes player with billions, Maruice Strong.
Read it. And be afraid. Be very afraid.

3Wesley Clark is one of those perfume generals of the clintoons’.
That soldier is precious and was treated disgustingly.
Threatening this soldier proves once again the left is nothing more than a bunch of thugs, bullies…an al qaeda type mentality.
This young man was trying to tell ‘em…the surge is working and what about the Iraqi People?
We find ourselves at another one of those key moments in history
