She’s back, and still no one gives a crap.

“ARLINGTON, Va. — Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan on Monday moved another step _ actually several thousand of them _ toward carrying out her promise to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi because the California Democrat won’t consider impeachment proceedings against President Bush.

Sheehan and about 200 other war protesters began walking from Arlington National Cemetery to the Capitol Hill office of Rep. John Conyers, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, where any impeachment proceedings would begin. Sheehan said she would ask Conyers to initiate impeachment proceedings against both Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

“Impeachment is not a fringe movement, it is mandated in our Constitution; Nancy Pelosi had no authority to take it off the table, ” Sheehan told her group of orange-clad activists Monday. “If Nancy Pelosi doesn’t do her constitutionally mandated job by midnight … I will announce that I’m going to run against her.”

Er….that would mean that to beat Pelosi you would need just a leeetle more than 200 votes, which seems to be all the support you have so far.

Sheehan has little chance of impact as the rank and file Dems want nothing to do with her or her message of “Love Chavez/Impeach Bush” deranged rantings.

As she continues to dishonor the memory of her son and all those who have fallen she does remind us of the cancer that has invaded American politics and indeed our populace.

UPDATE: Sheehan Cuffed and Stuffed. Charge her with a Felony, that will bar her from running for office.
