Christina Shelton, a former DIA intelligence analyst for two decades, recently penned an Op-Ed for the Washington Post to discuss what she saw in the intelligence reports about links between Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and al Qaeda.¬† Links to the original piece and blogosphere reactions are included in my roundup here.

1The RTimes (UK) reports that a third doctor was arrested. His family says it was only because he was using the cell phone of one of the men the police are hunting for.
The ONLY reason the CIA discounted the Czech intel report that Atta had been with Iraqi intel in Prague before 9/11 was because the FBI found that someone had used Atta’s cell phone in Fla on the date of the meeting in Prague.
This goes to show you how far Tenet went to hide the facts. And Shelton’s piece was magnificant.

2Of course…..an American from Lebanon has translated lots of Iraqi docs and found evidence of Saddamn with lots of al Qaeda connections. If one looks it’s just NOT that hard to find.
Anyone who thinks differently is nothing more than delusional…
